The 35.th president of USA, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, 1917-1963.

By Sverre Avnskog

On November 22, 1963 one of the most horrifying and definitely best documented political assassinations in modern history was carried out! Half the head of the American president was shattered to pieces by a shot, causing brain mass, blood and bone fragments to scatter in almost all directions.  Even hours after the killing parts of his skull, with skin and hairs, were found on Elm Street, Dallas, where Kennedy met his sad end, hit by a sniper’s bullet.  For it was, presumably, merely a lone, unstable shooter who carried out the killing, as the official story told us surprisingly soon after the event? The information presented about the alleged sole killer, Lee Harvey Oswald, was surprisingly substantial when considering that he was apparently a totally unknown individual. One might almost suspect someone to have the entire unraveling of the murder ready at hand, including information about the identity and personal history of the killer. However, the majority of Americans never accepted the official theory of the lone killer, and a large majority still considers the murder to be unresolved.

John F. Kennedy and his wife Jacqueline arrived at the Love Field Airport, Dallas, at 11.39 AM on November 22, 1963, and were met by an enthusiastic crowd. They were on a two day visit to Texas and had spent the night at Fort Worth. Outside the hotel Kennedy gave a short improvised speech, which would turn out to be his last speech ever. During the speech it was raining, and Jackie was hoping that they would travel with the glass roof mounted on the presidential car; however it did not turn out that way, for in Dallas there was sunshine and blue sky. The First Lady Jackie has been given a bouquet of red roses, and on their way to the waiting limousine the presidential couple allow themselves time to shake hands with some of the crowd. At this point in time JFK had merely a good hour left to live.

Left: The Texas Governor Johan Connally, 1917-1993, greeting the presidential couple as they are about to enter the limousine, a Lincoln Continental which JFK used frequently when he travelling by motorcade. Note Conally’s white hat. It was later on to play a certain role in the proofs that the most famous film of the assassination, the Zapruder film, is a forgery. To the immediate right of Jackie is secret service agent Roy Kellerman, 1915-1984, also visible in the right hand picture in the passenger seat adjacent to the driver, William (Bill) Greer, 1909-1985, also a secret service agent. Connally has taken a seat in front of the presidential couple.

Total confusion among the Secret Service agents: As the motorcade was about to leave Love Field airport in order to drive to the centre of Dallas, the two secret service agents, jogging at each side of the presidential limousine in order to protect him, are ordered back into the follow-up car by secret service agent Emory Roberts, who was sitting in the follow-up car with his back towards the camera. For a brief moment this caused total confusion with the agents, clearly evident with agent Henry Rybka who is gesticulating, raising his arms. The rear end of the presidential Lincoln was equipped with footrest as well as a handle for the secret service agents. The president was now totally unprotected by those meant to protect him.

The behavior of Kennedy’s chauffeur, Bill Greer, when the shots began to fire, was very odd indeed. Instead of accelerating at full blast in order to get Kennedy out of the danger zone, he did the exact opposite; he braked the vehicle and almost came to a full stop. The Zapruder film clearly shows that Greer turns around and sees everything that happens to the president, and only increases the speed after the fatal head shot has hit. In his explanation he lied and said that he had not been looking at Kennedy, he only “felt” that something was wrong.

On its way out of the centre of Dallas the motorcade travelled Main Street, turned right onto Houston Street and then made an abrupt left turn unto Elm Street. The time was by now almost 12:30. Shortly after they had entered this stretch of a few hundred meters, going from the “Texas School Book Depository” (the building with the large advertising sign on the roof) and to “the triple underpass”, Kennedy’s fate was sealed. Shots were fired from several positions, Kennedy was initially hit in the throat, and after the motorcade had almost come to a stop right in front of “the grassy knoll” on the right hand side of the street (to our left) a shot hit him in the head, causing blood, bone fragments and brain mass to be sprayed in all directions. But where did the shots come from?

When googling “Kennedy assassin” on the internet one will soon discover that the amount of information about this gruesome incident in modern history is overwhelming.  The internet virtually flows over with official and private websites and discussion fora, and countless individuals have spent years of their lives on research into this topic. There are experts on literally every single tiny aspect of the event. Several private films were made on that fatal day in Elm Street, Dallas, as well as a good deal of photos, and this material has been made the object of innumerable analyses and speculations, where tiny, indistinct shadows have been blown up in order to show that they could be individuals, and the various figures have been given their own names, such as “the black dog man”, “the badge man” and “the gin and tonic man”. In this jungle of more or less substantiated theories and assumptions I came across a website that I found unusually impressive. It was William Orchard’s site “The shots in Dealey Plaza”, http://theshotsindealyplaza.com/?page_id=12
Here Mr. Orchard has made a very intelligent and convincing analysis, based on secure findings and witness observations, of how the shots must have been fired on November 22, 1963, and where the shooters must have been positioned when firing. I write the shooters in the plural, and this should come as no surprise to anybody, because the evidence that shots were fired on Kennedy from several different positions cannot be denied, if we consider the realities seriously. And because I found William Orchard’s points of view so convincing and unprejudiced I decided to contact him with a view to possibly make use of his knowledge in relation to some other aspects of the assassination. I certainly do not regret having done so, for Orchard has turned out to have many interesting ideas and points of view regarding who could have been behind the brutal hired assassins that carried out the actual murder, for evidently they had bosses and assignments! I would therefore like to thank William wholeheartedly for taking the time to reply to my many questions and to refer me to well documented and serious sources! However, what is presented in this article is solely my responsibility!

These days, when the rather exaggerated American patriotism has had the effect of creating a climate poorly suited to have Americans scrutinize themselves and their nation in a critical searchlight, it has indeed been a great relief to meet an almost 70 year old American citizen who hasn’t lost this great nation’s noble points of departure from his sight, nor the visions of free and equal citizens in a free country, and yet is able to realize that some of the greatness and idealism of the country has been lost in the nation’s pursuit of power and, I almost wrote, world hegemony.  The shots in Dallas were probably a wake-up call for many Americans and Europeans who believed that the noble ideals from the foundation of the United States of America were still alive, and the 22nd of November 1963 is hence by many people characterized as “the day when the dreams died”! However, this was obviously not correct, for in the course of the 20th century several powerful networks emerged in the USA, consisting of power hungry and ruthless persons and organizations seeking power and influence and not hesitating to kill and maim in order to maintain their power positions. Kennedy’s tragic fate was perhaps caused by the fact that he from the very beginning forcefully opposed all of these brutal power groups of the American society; a few have even asked themselves whether it would not be justified to regard Kennedy’s conduct, whereby he provoked one power group after the other and turned all of them against himself, as a kind of suicide. The fact is that he was intensely hated by large groups, and it is alleged that when school classes in Dallas were told that the president had been shot and killed, it was enthusiastically cheered! The free individual with equal rights and equal duties in a free country had been turned into the right of the strongest to ruthlessly terminate all their enemies and to defend their power position with brutality and violence – precisely the same principles that governed the foreign policy of the USA during this period!

In many places enthusiastic spectators were standing close by the motorcade. But not everyone were of a friendly disposition, it turned out. Notice, by the way, JFK’s leg position. Because of the cramped space behind governor Connally both his legs are being pressed to the right. Later on, when he was shot, he fell backwards and to the left, and many have seen this as an indication that he was shot from the front and from the right hand side – from “the grassy knoll”. However, the reason why he fell to the left was probably rather that he lost his balance and became top-heavy because the body lost its muscular power, and hence gravity pulled him down because he had leaned himself towards Jackie following the initial hit.

Here the vehicle with JFK is turning right from Main Street into Houston Street, where it travelled a short distance before turning sharply to the left in front of the building in the centre of the photo – the Texas School Book Depository. On the top story but one, the sixth story, at the right hand side was “the sniper’s nest” – the spot where some cardboard boxes had been put on top of each other in order to hide somebody. Here the police later found three empty cartridges and a rifle, an Italian Mannlicher-Carcano with a riflescope, which they believed they could prove belonged to the killer – the lone sniper who, according to the official version, fired three shots. Photo: Philip Willis.

Quite a number of amateur photographers had taken up position along Elm Street in order to catch a glimpse of the president and his wife before the vehicle disappeared under the railway line at “the triple underpass”. This picture, taken by Robert Croft, shows the situation a few seconds before the first shot hit Kennedy in the neck. However, one shot has already been fired, both Jackie and Connally appear somewhat apprehensive, and Kennedy has stopped waving for a moment. It is believed that the picture was taken simultaneously as the Zapruder frame z161.

The first still pictures from the famous Zapruder film of the murder of John F Kennedy were published in LIFE Magazine approximately two weeks after the assassination. LIFE bought the rights to the film from Abraham Zapruder already in the morning of November 23. Zapruder was standing on the opposite side in relation to Robert Croft and here Kennedy has resumed waving. A few seconds afterwards he is hit by a shot in the neck. This seems to be Zapruder picture frame z183. There are major questions about the authenticity of the Zapruder film, something I shall discuss in details later!

There are a few more pictures from the last seconds before Kennedy was hit by the first shot. The left hand picture was taken by Hugh Betzner and is assumed to have been taken approximately 1.3 seconds after the picture by Robert Croft and simultaneously with Zapruder frame z186. The right hand picture was taken less than a second later by Philip Willis, who had moved quickly from the corner of Main Street and Houston Street. The picture is alleged to correspond to Zapruder frame z202 – my own opinion is that it must be approximately z212. Incidentally, Abraham Zapruder is seen standing, supported by a female colleague, Marylin Sitzman, on the low wall to the right of the “Stemmons Freeway” sign. One of the things puzzling me about the Zapruder film is how odd the “Stemmons Freeway” sign appears in relation to the two above photos. On the Betzner as well as the Willlis photo it seems to me that Kennedy will be visible from Zapruder’s position at all times while the motorcade is passing by, whereas on the Zapruder film Kennedy disappears totally behind the upper part of the sign and he remains hidden for as much as 12 picture frames, from z112 until z124.When he emerges again, he is still close to the upper rim of the sign, something that would seem impossible in the above photos! I will come back to this point!

For many people the shots in Dallas stand out as the symbol of the victory of darkness over light, or the victory of evil over goodness, and this probably explains a lot about the reason why so many people dwell on this event and cannot resign themselves with the explanations provided so far. The highly sympathetic and visionary Kennedy and his charming, winning ways and charismatic appearance through the new television medium turned him into a dearly beloved leader for many Americans. He was no less popular in Europe, and the tragic mourning many people felt when he was assassinated was bottomless and genuine. Even here in Norway I remember that my father’s birthday, which was on the very same day, November 22, was abruptly transformed from a day of joy to a day of mourning, when we received the message of his death in 1963, when I was only seven years old, and that day continued for many years to come to be a day of sorrow and sadness, for practically every year Kennedy was remembered through memorial programs on the day of his death.

At the time none of us knew that Kennedy also had a dark side – his womanizing and his abuse of painkillers and other narcotics were completely unknown to the public. Many of us had a somewhat naive image of Kennedy’s exalted leadership figure and believed him to be above criticism. Perhaps he himself felt that he was untouchable, or had he reached a stage in his life where he quite simply didn’t care whether he lived or died? His health was ruined, he was dependent on strong analgesics in order to keep the pain at bay, his marriage to Jacqueline had become a farce, and when Kennedy got into the car to travel from Love Field, the Dallas airport, during his two-day visit to Texas, and into the centre of Dallas in order to have lunch, he was fully aware that two assassination attempts to his life had been thwarted only a few weeks earlier. The Dallas newspapers had hateful attacks on him in their editions of November 22, and Kennedy said to his wife just a few hours before the motorcade started that “yesterday would have been a hell of a day to kill a president”.

Perhaps he had a premonition of what was awaiting him in Dallas later on that day? At any rate, there is no doubt that many circles harbored an intense hatred against John and, not least, against his brother Robert. Investigators have been able to document that there were ongoing conspiracies about an assassination of JFK in several circles during the years prior to the murder, and each and every one of these researchers have typically felt that they have found the origin of the assassination plans in a particular milieu. However, everything indicates that such ideas emerged more or less simultaneously in several different circles, as if they were all directed by some common overall plan and coordinating leadership, something which in reality did not exist. However, at some point in time the various groupings must have realized that they had mutual interests in putting Kennedy out of the way; thus the great conspiracy began unfolding and it involved a sinister group of corrupt, ruthless and coldblooded individuals and groups. And it is definitely not difficult to indicate those who had a lot to gain from Kennedy’s death!

1. CIA and the military establishment: Names frequently mentioned are e.g. Richard Helms, director of CIA from 1966 to 1973, in 1977 convicted of having lied to Congress about CIA activities, and James Angleton. It is very likely that Miami CIA station JMWAVE was involved, including high-ranking CIA officers such as David Phillips, David Morales and William Harvey. We must also mention CIA agents such as E Howard Hunt, who has admitted being implicated in the assassination, and Bernhard Barker, one of the Watergate thieves, as well as Frank Sturgis. These persons were furious with Kennedy for the failure of the Bay of Pigs Invasion (Cuba) and for Kennedy’s attempts to destroy the entire CIA. Just before his death E Howard Hunt, mostly known for the Watergate break-in that brought down President Richard Nixon, admitted his involvement in the Kennedy assassination. He claimed to be acting on orders from Cord Meyer, who worked for Lyndon B Johnson. Cord Meyer’s wife was one of Kennedy’s mistresses, and she was also murdered – in 1964, and the murder was never unraveled. Let us also not forget the relatively young CIA employee George W. Bush sr. The later CIA director Bush still continues to deny that he was employed by the CIA at the time, but there is a document signed by the head of FBI, J Edgar Hoover, showing that in his capacity as a CIA employee, he (Bush) did provide information about the assassination to the FBI. Admittedly, from those who adamantly stick to the Warren Commission’s conclusion about the lone assassin, it is claimed that this document may be a forgery; however nobody has been able to prove this, as far as I know.

When did George W Bush sr. actually become a CIA agent and what was he doing on November 22, 1963? As far as I know Bush has not been willing to contribute any solid information on this issue, apart from denying that he was a CIA agent in 1963 and claiming that he cannot remember his whereabouts when Kennedy was murdered. He has also not commented on his highly peculiar behavior when mentioning the lone killer in his speech at the funeral of late President Gerald Ford, when he actually smiled!! In a photo shot outside the Texas Book Depository approximately half an hour after the assassination some people believe they recognize Bush, but I must admit that I cannot agree. Admittedly, there is a certain similarity but also obvious differences, e.g. Bush’s prominent chin.

2. The Chicago Mafia: mafia bosses such as Sam Giancana, Johnny Rosselli, as well as a somewhat lower ranking mafia member, Jack Ruby. Jack Ruby killed the man arrested for the Kennedy assassination, Lee Harvey Oswald in direct television transmission while Oswald was in police custody. How was it possible for a member of the mafia to get this close to a murder suspect, one wonders. And why did he kill Oswald? His explanation was that he had been so emotionally shaken by the killing of the president, but one must be rather naive to believe that this could be true in the case of a criminal nightclub operator and member of the mafia. Most probably Ruby played an important role in organizing the Kennedy assassination, and some people claim that he was the person directly responsible for killings “at street level”, handling of guns and similar. The intention was probably that Oswald was to be killed in connection with his arrest, but something went wrong. Police officer Tippit was killed and the police also tried to link this murder to Oswald, while Oswald survived the arrest. We know that Ruby carried on a very hectic telephone activity from his hotel room the evening after the killing, and being directly responsible for the operation there was probably never any doubt that he personally had to make up for the error committed and kill Oswald.

Cooperation between the mafia and the CIA was well established in 1963 after CIA having contacted the mafia in 1959 with the intent to start cooperating in order to assassinate Fidel Castro. CIA shunned absolutely no means to achieve their goals and happily cooperated with all types of criminals, including assassins. The mafia was furious because of Kennedy’s brother, Secretary of Justice Robert Kennedy’s persistent attempts to convict them for criminal activities, and if the president was killed Robert Kennedy would lose his power. It was of course an irony of fate that the mafia, whose support to Kennedy’s presidential candidacy was bought by means of the father, Joe Kennedy’s, money, were also the agent taking steps to eliminate Kennedy. One may ask whether Kennedy knew the kind of risks he exposed himself to by attempting to break those who in reality put him into office? Jimmy Hoffa, the trade union leader, was in close contact with the mafia, and Robert Kennedy’s actions against him made him a sworn enemy of the Kennedy brothers.  It is not known whether Hoffa played any important role in the planning of the assassination, men presumably he was not opposed to the plan, to put it mildly. Jimmy Hoffa disappeared without a trace in 1975, probably killed and made to vanish by the mafia. When looking at the portraits of these people, it seems obvious that they do not appear to be of a friendly disposition. But the same probably goes for the CIA agents pictured above. There was an “unholy” collusion between these organizations for many years, and many people have claimed that they were two sides of the same coin and with identical goals: To maintain their power positions by means of brutality and violence. Was Kennedy really aware what he was taking on when he tried to remove them from power positions, indict the mafia bosses and dissolve the CIA?

3.  - An Axis of New Orleans and Tampa mafia and Cuban-exiles in Southern Florida, - this is how the mafia bosses Carlos Marcello (1910-1993) and Santo Trafficante (1914-1987) characterized the shots. Research into the numerous Cuban-exile organizations is fascinating and may reveal much about various assassination plans, but they probably did not have sufficient power to carry out an assassination on an American president without consent from the mafia and CIA, and collusion between these had already been established as part of the efforts to eliminate Castro. Robert Kennedy had Carlos Marcello temporarily deported to Guatemala in April 1961, two weeks before the “Bay of Pigs”. The race policy extremist Joseph Milteer (1902-1974) was also involved with Marcello but probably did not participate directly in the killing itself. However, there is a tape made 13 days before the assassination, on which Milteer tells a police informer that an assassination of the president had been planned. He also revealed that Kennedy would be shot by a lone killer from a public building, and that the assassin would be apprehended shortly after the murder. There is every indication that he had inside information. Incidentally, Milteer emerged once again in 1968 as a sponsor of the Martin Luther King Jr. assassination.

4. The billionaires of the oil and weapon industries: Clint Murchison Jr., H.L. Hurt and many others. These individuals shared CIA’s disapproval of Kennedy’s foreign policy which threatened to cause them enormous income losses.  The same thing goes for Kennedy’s decisions concerning taxation of the oil industry. These extremely wealthy opponents of Kennedy’s policies contributed financially in Dallas in arranging the “Texas School Book Depository” as “patsy location”, i.e. the spot from where the lone sniper was to fire his shots. The intended patsy, Lee Harvey Oswald, was hired for a job at this location about four weeks prior to the assassination and was observed on several locations in the building on the day of the killing – not remarkable in itself, since he was working there. It was harder to explain that he was seen in the canteen just one minute after the shooting – several floors below the “sniper’s nest” on the sixth story. The billionaires also controlled the Dallas politicians, and in collusion with mafia boss Carlos Marcello’s henchmen, who ran the Dallas mafia, they secured the cooperation with the Dallas police and the sheriff’s office. The later president Richard Nixon was very highly favored by the billionaires and undoubtedly knew what was going on, but he probably did not play an active role. In 1968 when he himself needed some “dirty work” done he hired Barker, Sturgis, Hunt and others (the Watergate thieves) who were working for the CIA in 1963, and they were obviously ready to serve.

5.  FBI director J. Edgar Hoover, Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson and his political henchman, Ed Clark, head of Johnson’s political activities in Texas. Hoover, an expert on infiltration, wanted to place one of his men in the Kennedy administration and he put pressure on Kennedy to offer Johnson the vice presidency, threatening to expose his sexual activities, something which would have rendered Kennedy chanceless in terms of winning the election in the “moral” USA. Hoover’s close friend Johnson agreed to the plan, but the first years as vice president turned out to be one long succession of humiliations, and his opposition to Kennedy grew into an intense hatred during this period. Hoover perceived Kennedy’s wild sex escapades as a national security risk, and Hoover as well as Johnson had an interest in having him put away. Ed Clark was known for his good and very tight relationship with the Texas billionaires. We are given to understand that Hoover had intercepted information by means of a bug about the planning of the Kennedy assassination already in September 1962.

A few people allege that the murder of Kennedy was carried out on direct orders from Lyndon B. Johnson, while other sources claim that even if both Hoover and Johnson supported the assassination wholeheartedly they did not actually take an active part in the planning itself. Their most important role was to make sure that the truth never came out and that the official theory about the lone assassin firing three fatal shots from the “Texas School Book Depository” was accepted as the final and correct one – something they succeeded fully in, at least temporarily. Many of the telephone conversations during Johnson’s presidencies were recorded, and in one of these recordings, made shortly after Hoover had written his report about the murder and indicating Lee Harvey Oswald as the killer, Johnson can be heard telling Hoover that strong political forces wanted to set up an investigating commission, and that he intends to steal a march on them by setting up his own commission. No names are mentioned in the conversation, but there can be little doubt that they are talking about the Kennedy assassination. Incidentally, Johnson himself was in the spotlight and was under investigation for several criminal affairs in the period prior to the assassination. As President he got away cheaply from the ongoing investigations about his criminal activities.

J.Edgar Hoover, 1895-1972, monitored “everything and everybody”.

Lyndon Baines Johnson, 1908 – 1973, hated John Fitzgerald Kennedy, 1917 – 1963, deeply and wholeheartedly.

Edward (Ed) Aubrey Clark, 1906 – 1992, was Johnson’s link to the Texas billionaires.

The best way to ensure that no one would afterwards reveal the conspiracy was to involve a large number of persons from the various power centers in the planning and preparation of the assassination, ensuring that as many people as possible assumed a compromising role. By disclosing the other accomplices the “whistle-blower” would thereby also disclose himself. There were probably several people involved who did not harbor any personal hatred against Kennedy, but rather through their contacts with Kennedy-haters more or less willingly “suddenly” found themselves being accomplices in conspirator plans against the President of the USA. In so doing, it was ensured that the likelihood the truth would one day be uncovered was very small. The various actors could keep each other in check by means of the compromising pieces of information they all possessed about each others’ complicity. The FBI boss was very vulnerable to extortion because of his homosexuality, his penchant for dressing in female clothes and his extensive gambling, and he, in his turn, monitored every man Jack and was in a position to blackmail anybody, even Kennedy. Hoover had detailed information about JFK’s many mistresses, a few of which he even shared with mafia bosses. If we are to believe the most extreme allegations, Kennedy developed an almost insatiable sexual appetite and bedded virtually every living thing in a skirt. And when he did not manage on his own to satisfy his passion, it became the task of the Secret Service agents to provide women for the president.  Historians are certain that it was Hoover who pushed Kennedy to accept Johnson as his Vice President candidate and likewise Hoover who persuaded Johnson to take on the task in spite of his hatred for Kennedy, a hatred that did not diminish by the circumstance that the Kennedy brothers ignored him and only gave him meaningless tasks such as cutting ribbons and the like.  That Lyndon B. Johnson was aware of the assassination about to take place must be beyond all doubt. His mistress for many years, Madeleine Brown, has told that Johnson was in contact with the conspirators in a meeting on November 21, the evening before the assassination, and he is said to have turned crimson in his face from excitement and fury when he declared face to face with her that “after tomorrow those sons of bitches shall never again get to hassle me. And that’s not a threat, it’s a promise”! Knowing this, it is a rather weird experience to scrutinize LBJ’s facial expressions in the photos taken just prior to and immediately after the assassination. During a short speech Kennedy gave before the departure to Dallas in the morning we can see Johnson with a smug smile, and in one of the pictures from the presidential airplane as he is taking the oath he doesn’t manage to hide a smile to the person standing on his right, who is winking back, and Johnson’s wife who is adjacent to him appears virtually bursting with suppressed joy. They definitely don’t appear to be very much marked by the murder!

And Johnson wasn’t the only one being well-informed about the conspiracy plans. Another great and keen Kennedy-hater was Richard Nixon who had lost narrowly to Kennedy in the presidential elections in 1960; and in the Warren commission, set up by Johnson after the assassination with the purpose of finding the truth – or rather, prevent that the truth be known – later president Gerald Ford took part, and it is known that he redacted a section of the commission report in order to make the description of Kennedy’s rifle wounds tally better with the official explanation of the origin of the shots. In later years it has also become known that George W. Bush was active as CIA agent before the murder and clearly took part in the preparations and deviation maneuvers. Some people call Bush Sr. The only living American who cannot remember where he was when he learned about the assassination of JFK. He has also in retrospect denied having been a CIA agent at that point in time, something which is clearly belied by documents published later on. However, Bush was not the only one suffering from acute memory loss. Richard Nixon, I believe, also claimed that he never could remember his whereabouts on November 22 – but it has been established that he was in a meeting in Dallas! In summary, we have as many as four American future Presidents on the list of those who either actively or passively took part in the conspiracy: Lyndon B. Johnson, Gerald Ford, Richard Nixon and George W. Bush Sr.

There is proof that all of these people were involved in one way or the other, and perhaps it is not so hard to imagine that the mere thought of something like this in the eyes of most Americans seems so unlikely that the mere thought has never entered their mind; and Johnson, the man that hated Kennedy deeply and wholeheartedly and who was described by his contemporaries as evil, power-crazy and brutal, was re-elected as President by an overwhelming majority in 1964. Some humbug! It is so brazen and beyond common morality that one almost doesn’t believe it, but it is definitely the truth! And regarding Bush Sr.’s role I recommend everyone to check out the speech Bush gave at Gerald Ford’s funeral! He relates that they have been through a lot together, and when commenting on the assassination of their predecessor in the job, John F. Kennedy, saying that he was murdered by a lone killer, he actually smiles, the way many people are wont to do when telling a lie as if it were the truth, while “everyone” knows that it is a brazen lie. It is past belief!

The meeting that Johnson’s mistress, Madeline Brown, talked about when she was of mature years, and which took place on the evening before the assassination, was at a party in the home of the oil billionaire Clint Murchison not far away from Dallas. Johnson stayed at Fort Worth the night before the assassination, only an hour’s drive from the Murchison residence. He arrived late but in time to participate in the closed meeting, attended by a very interesting and revealing list of Kennedy-haters, according to Madeline Brown. It included yet another oil mogul, Murchison’s very close friend Sid Richardson, just like Murchison well known for having close links to rightwing extremist political circles as well as the mafia. Present was also the man who was perhaps the most powerful in the USA for many years, FBI-Director J. Edgar Hoover and FBI’s second-in-command, Hoover’s homosexual lover for a number of years, Clyde Tolson. Another person present was mafia member and nightclub operator Jack Ruby, the man who later on had to tidy up after the botched arrest of Lee Harvey Oswald by killing him with his own hands. Another participant was John J. McCloy, by some people referred to as the “foreman” of the American establishment – a powerful person with great influence in many fields. The two Cabell brothers were also present: General Charles Cabell, CIA director at the time of the failed invasion in Cuba at the Bay of Pigs, and his role as responsible for the operation resulted in him being dismissed as CIA-director by Kennedy. His brother Earl Cabell was also present, and he held the post of Dallas mayor. Incidentally, he was responsible for the motorcade route through Dallas. It has been claimed that this route was altered as late as the day before the assassination, so as to include the curve onto Elm Street where the murder was committed, but this seems not to hold water. The route was the same as the one published in the newspapers several days before. Another participant was oil mogul H.L. Hunt, harboring equally extreme political views as the other two oil billionaires present. Hunt was known as anti-Jewish and a stalwart supporter of McCarty’s persecution of communists, and on that same day he had published a pamphlet entitled “John F. Kennedy – wanted for treason”.  Accompanying Hunt was also his supporter and colleague John F. Currington. Also the arms industry was represented in the guise of George Brown from the arms manufacturer “Brown and Root”. Brown is believed to have been a financial sponsor of Johnson’s political career! In addition, the Texas governor John Conally, who was to have his own seat in the presidential Lincoln; Bill Decker (sheriff of Dallas County); Larry Campbell (a high ranking Jimmy Hoffa staff member); Carlos Marcello (New Orleans mafia boss); Joe Civello (Dallas mafia boss); Clifton C. Carter (Johnson’s leading political “fixer”, noted for his links to the Washington D.C. mafia); and Malcolm E. Wallace (of many people referred to as LBJ’s personal “hit man”, responsible for several murders which supposedly can also be linked to Johnson).  On one of the cardboard boxes used by the killer to hide behind in the “sniper’s nest” several fingerprints by Malcolm Wallace were found! And there is a very high probability that he was the one firing the shots from this position, for which Lee Harvey Oswald was made responsible!! “Mac” Wallace himself suffered a violent death – he was found shot with five shots from his own rifle. It was declared a suicide, something that seems extremely unlikely. Last but not least it must be mentioned that also Richard Nixon attended the meeting! He who failed to remember where he was on the following day. He attended a meeting in Dallas, namely “PepsiCo Bottlers’ Convention”. So, it was after this meeting that Lyndon B. Johnson - determined, excited and furious – would declare that the Kennedy brothers were never again to bother him!! It is quite obvious what the theme of the meeting was! “The big event”!

As Lee Harvey Oswald is being led out, surrounded by police officers on all sides, nightclub operator and mafia member Jack Ruby suddenly pulls out a revolver and kills him, allegedly because he could not live with the fact that Oswald had killed the president. It seems quite incredible that anybody could believe something as unlikely as this!

The aging H.L. Hunt and his wife. At this point in time Hunt was one of the richest men in the world, in addition he hated Jews and communists and was a sworn enemy of JFK! He participated in the meeting at Clint Murchison Sr.’s residence in the evening of the 21st November 1963, from which Lyndon Johnson emerged over-excited, triumphantly declaring to his mistress about the Kennedy brothers: “Now those sons of bitches will never again bother me, and that is not a threat, it is a promise!”

The identities of the hired killers carrying out the actual assassination are not yet known, even if many people have ventured more or less qualified guesses. William Orchard mentions that the organizers have probably made sure to involve killers from several of the involved parties, and that the task was awarded according to the “principle of seniority”, to the individuals who had deserved such a large assignment after long and faithful service. To be able to brag about having participated in the assassination of the President of the USA is bound to be the jewel in the crown for a hired killer of the worst caliber, and there were plenty of them in the USA in those days. According to CIA agent Howard Hunt the assassination of Kennedy was referred to as “the Big Event”, and also he revealed before his death that Lyndon B. Johnson was well aware of the impending murder, indeed many people claim that Johnson himself ordered the assassination of JFK. My American friend, William Orchard, is of the opinion that Johnson’s most important role was as the supreme leader of the cover-up operation, in liaison with the FBI head J. Edgar Hoover. Hoover wrote a brief report shortly after the assassination in which he pointed to Lee Harvey Oswald as the killer, and shortly afterwards Johnson set up the so called Warren Commission, whose rapport is so transparent and obviously designed to cover up all clues of the real events, that one wonders why it was not called in question more than it was. On the other hand, what could people do actually about it? Probably “everybody” realized that Kennedy was a “marked” man, and that he would eventually be killed, and what would an American do in the name of patriotism or out of fear of being the next victim?

William Orchard’s brilliant analysis of the events of the day of the assassination shows that there were shooters in five different positions around Dealey Plaza, Dallas, and he is able to explain and document in detail when the shots were fired and where they hit. Volumes of documentation have been produced by very competent persons, with meticulous analyses of the shots in Dealey Plaza, but the big problem is that so much of the evidence clearly has been doctored. Several amateur films of the events on the 22nd of November 1963 were recorded, as well as many photographs, but none of them shows unequivocally and clearly what happened. Even the well-known “Zapruder” film which many people claim shows the killing itself in detail is actually not all that it purports to be, and a closer scrutiny shows that also this one has been tampered with. The Australian researcher John Costella, who has studied the Zapruder-film for a number of years, has presented a very convincing analysis showing that the film has been altered afterwards; however, also for a layman such as me it is a fairly simple issue to conclude that the film does not show what actually happened. An overwhelming number of witnesses to the killing have testified that the vehicle with Kennedy slowed down before the fatal head shot was fired, and that it eventually almost had come to a full stop, after which it accelerated again after one of the Secret Service agents from the follow-up vehicle behind, Clint Hill, had jumped onto the limousine of Kennedy, whose head had by then been shot to pieces. In the Zapruder-film it seems as if the vehicle maintains a relatively steady speed throughout the entire scenario, an effect easily obtained by removing some of the frames from the film. This comes out very well in Costella’s pictorial montage where he has put all the Zapruder-frames into an overview picture of Dealey Plaza taken shortly after the day of the assassination. It seems as if the distance between the picture frames is relatively constant and stable, while in reality many witnesses could testify that the presidential vehicle slowed down and almost came to a full stop before accelerating again after Kennedy’s skull had been crushed by the fatal head shot – in other words, some of the photo frames must have been removed. In addition, the forgers have endeavored to make Kennedy’s head movements look real even when they removed some of the frames, but apparently it has not been possible to ensure that all movements of all passengers appeared normal. It is quite evident that some of them almost from one frame to the other suddenly have turned their head at a velocity not possible for a human being.

The people who removed the photo frames obviously intended to hide something, and that might of course have been the fact that the vehicle slowed down and almost came to a full stop such that the sharpshooters in front of the vehicle would have an easier job hitting Kennedy, and it might also have been in order to adapt the film to the official cover-up story, namely that Kennedy was shot from behind by the lone sniper, Lee Harvey Oswald, - or it could be both! The actual head shot appears in the film in frame number z313, and we see a spray of blood, brain mass and bone fragments ejected forwards and upwards. It is very unpleasant to witness, and if we are to interpret what the pictures show, most people will quickly draw the conclusion that Kennedy must have been hit from behind, for everyone knowledgeable about the characteristics of an entry wound and an exit wound will know that the entry wound may appear as a small hole in the body, while the exit wound most of the time becomes dramatically larger, because the bullet carries body tissue and blood on its way out, causing a fountain of blood exiting from the body. At first glance, therefore, the Zapruder film does show that Kennedy was shot in the back of his head and that the blood was mostly sprayed in a forward direction. However, this is only at first glance. For Kennedy’s head and body does not move forwards when the shot hits, as one would expect, rather he is clearly being thrust backwards and then falls to the left, as he had been hit by a shot from in front! Someone has, by studying the picture frames, been able to conclude that Kennedy’s head makes a microscopic forward movement immediately after the shot, but that movement cannot be seen when the film is running at normal speed and is probably due to other causes, for instance the chauffeur breaking at this point in time). So, the tampering with the Zapruder film is that some frames have been cut out in order to hide that the limousine slowed down and almost came to a full stop and also in order to make it look as if Kennedy was shot from behind, whereas he in reality was shot from in front! Probably also other changes were made, such as retouching away the blood spray with a backward direction and by retouching and removing the large, gaping exit wound in Kennedy’s occipital, mentioned by countless witnesses including several of the physicians who participated in the first attempts to save Kennedy’s life, before Secret Service and FBI assumed total authority over the autopsy and practically commanded control of Kennedy’s body and – contrary to legislation – removed it from the venue where the autopsy was to take place – and ought to have taken place. There is also much to suggest  that “someone” enlarged the wound in Kennedy’s neck in order to make it look as an exit wound, whereas the physicians who initially took care of the dying Kennedy reported about a tiny bullet hole with a diameter of approximately 3 mm, and they were sure it was an entry wound!! If I have understood John Costella correctly, he is, in addition, of the opinion that the forgers have also tried to camouflage the neck shot of the Zapruder film by moving the sign behind which the limousine for a moment was hidden, in such a way that one cannot see exactly when Kennedy was shot first – in the neck. Orchard assumes that it happened in picture frame z188. But according to the official cover-up story also this shot was assumed to have come from behind! The Warren Commission’s explanation regarding this shot is incidentally known as “the magic bullet”, and the bullet is supposed to have hit initially Kennedy in the back, exited his throat, changed direction and hit the passenger in the front seat, Connally, first in his armpit, then again changing direction and hitting him in the thigh and in the wrist. The whole thing is so obviously a fabricated explanation that it is almost ludicrous, however the Warren Commission swallowed it up with relish as a plausible explanation. In reality Kennedy was shot from the front in the throat, while Conally was shot from behind by a different shooter, and he himself maintained in interview after interview that Kennedy had already been shot when he himself was hit, something we can clearly see on the Zapruder film. Connally was not hit until picture frame z224, whereas important Kennedy historians claim that Kennedy was hit in picture frame z188 or at any rate before Conally!

The first shot fell as the presidential limousine had just turned 120 degrees left and had entered Elm Street. Kennedy’s back was at that moment exposed to the spot where the Warren Commission later on placed the lone killer, Lee Harvey Oswald. However, he was only a fall guy and he was observed on the third floor merely a minute after the assassination, quietly drinking a coca cola from a vending machine, so he cannot possibly have had anything to do with the murder. However, in order to prove Oswald’s guilt shots had to be fired from this position, called TSBDE after the Texas School Book Depository East. Oswald, who from the outset had been picked out to appear as the lone killer, had begun working at the school book depository just a few weeks before, and those who arranged the murder had set up a “sniper’s nest” in a room with a window facing Elm Street. There the police later found the “murder weapon”, an Italian rifle, Mannlicher-Carcano, apparently owned by Oswald. In some of the photos of the building, taken just a few seconds after the killing, one can see somebody in the room, probably two persons. Later on finger prints in some of the cardboard boxes were identified as belonging to Malcolm Wallace, well-known hired killer and LBJ’s henchman. Many people believe him to be the one who fired the shots from TSBDE.  However, the first shot missed the target and instead hit the ground on the sidewalk where Elm Street starts its left turn. Researchers believe that the Mannlicher-Carcano rifle was fired from the Texas School Book Depository, but probably something went wrong, and it was not possible to prove that it had been fired just before the murder. But the killers left three cartridges, and in spite of many witnesses appearing shortly after the assassination and declaring that they heard more shots, the official story about three shots and three cartridges was quickly established in the media. However, taking into consideration all witness observations and findings made in the street during the next few days after November 22, it is clear to most people that  indeed shots were fired from the east side of the Texas School Book Depository but that this was far from being the only location where snipers were placed. It has been possible to locate a total of five different positions from which shots were fired, and any student of the Kennedy assassination will soon encounter the issue of “the grassy knoll”. An overwhelming number of people testified that they clearly heard shots fired from a position in front of Kennedy’s limousine, from a grassy slope in front of and to the right of the motorcade as it was travelling along Elm Street, sloping downwards in a left turn towards a railway underpass, or “the triple underpass” as it is referred to, since as many as three streets pass under the railway lines. Along the railings on this railway crossing were a number of railway workers and other witnesses, and several of them told that they saw persons behind the wooden fence on top of the grassy knoll, heard shots from there and could see gunpowder smoke from shots being fired. The commission that Johnson felt obligated to set up in order to investigate the assassination, the so called Warren Commission, called practically none of these witnesses for further interrogation, but their first testimonies serve as more than sufficient proof that shots were fired from the grassy knoll! For a long time it was believed that it was a shot from this position  which inflicted the fatal head injury on JFK, but subsequently meticulous forensic medical analyses  by Sherry Gutierrez Fiester have shown that this shot must have been fired from a position further to the left of Kennedy, for as can be seen from Zapruder picture frame z312, Kennedy’s head was turned to the left and a tiny bit down when the fatal shot hit him above his right eye and caused a spray of blood, brain mass and bone fragments from the right hand side of his head. The following picture frames also show that he is thrown backwards and falls to the left towards Jackie Kennedy.

In this survey of Dealey Plaza where the tragic murder took place on November 22, 1963, I have marked the five positions where snipers were positioned. I am basing this on William Orchard’s brilliant analysis as presented in his website: http://theshotsindealeyplaza.com/?page_id=12 Sniper #1 was on the sixth story of the eastside of the Texas School Book Depository (TSBDE), the position called “sniper’s nest”, from where Lee Harvey Oswald is alleged to have shot. However, he was observed several floors downstairs the building merely a minute after the assassination, and hence this is impossible. Position #2 is in the second story of the Dal Tex Building (DTB). There was also a sniper on the Westside of the Texas School Book Depository (TSBDW) on the same story as the sniper on the eastside of the building. The sniper in position #4 (GFK) was behind “the picket fence”, a wooden fence separating the parking ground and the grassy knoll sloping towards Elm Street. For many years it was believed that this constituted the complete picture of the “assassination scenario”, however later analysis by Sherry Gutierrez Fiester have revealed that the fatal last shot towards Kennedy’s head cannot possible have come from the grassy knoll but rather from further to the left, as seen from the angle of the presidential vehicle. The only plausible position of this sniper is south of the triple underpass, close to the south knoll, and this position (#5) is called RROP (Railroad Overpass).

The Australian Kennedy researcher and specialist of the Zapruder film, John Costella, has mounted all of the Zapruder film frames in a panoramic picture taken from the assumed identical position as the Zapruder film the day after the assassination (something that I will demonstrate later cannot be correct, - the picture must have been taken from a higher position than Zapruder! Note that the presidential vehicle, which in reality was driving in the middle of the road in the picture montage, seems to be clearly to the left in the driveway! That is a valid proof that the picture must have been taken from a higher position than the one from which the picture has been filmed!) According to a very large number of witnesses the chauffeur, Bill Greers, lowered his speed when the first shots were fired, and making the vehicle come to an almost full stop. When the vehicle was at an almost full stop and was turning slightly to the left Kennedy was hit in the head, and in close-ups one can easily see that Greers turns around and looks directly at Kennedy in spite of his denials of this fact in his statements. After Kennedy having been hit by the fatal shot, the only one of the Secret Service agents who really was attentive of what was happening in the vehicle in front, Clint Hill, jumped out of the follow-up car, climbed up onto the presidential vehicle and covered the presidential couple in the backseat with his own body. Not until the moment when Hill had entered the vehicle did Greer speed up, the way he ought to have done immediately when the first shot was fired. Many people have explained this conduct by saying that he feared they were heading into an ambush, and that therefore he hesitated, - an explanation that personally I don’t find credible. In Costellas’s picture montage Greer’s braking ought to have been shown more clearly – the picture frames ought to have come closer and closer and then, after that, there should have been a gradually greater distance between each frame as the vehicle was picking up speed. As you can see from the montage, especially when shown in enlarged format, this is not the case, and the reason can only be one: many of the picture frames have been removed!

The two pictures to the left shows the photographer Pete Barnes who shot many pictures in Dealey Plaza just a few days after the murder.  In the centre we see Abraham Zapruder (supported by a colleague) pictured as he is filming from the same pedestal. When you see this, together with the picture on the extreme right of Dealey plaza, taken approximately at the same time as Barnes was filming (possibly by Barnes?), it is easy to draw the conclusion that it must have been shot while he was standing on the very same pedestal as Zapruder. However, the fact that we have pictures by Barnes on this pedestal and pictures of Dealey Plaza, supposed to have been taken by him, is obviously not proof that the said picture has been shot from exactly the same position. We cannot use something that might have been falsified by the conspirators as evidence that e.g. the Zapruder film has not been doctored by the conspirators. I am convinced that the picture of the flower decorated Dealey Plaza has been shot from a position higher than the pedestal.  I will revert to this point in greater detail!

These three frames from the Zapruder film show the first few meters after the motorcade with the presidential vehicle having turned into Elm Street. The picture to the left is z140, and Kennedy is seen waving his right hand to the crowd along the street. Most Zapruder specialists assume that the first shot was fired in or around frame z150. Possibly it is the sound from this shot which makes the president stop waving, and he looks right and left before he starts waving again. Picture number two is z161, taken simultaneously as Robert Croft’s color photo, seen above. It shows that Kennedy has put his arm down to rest, and in Croft’s picture we can also see that both John Conally and Jacqueline Kennedy are confounded and looking out. In the last picture, z185, Kennedy has resumed waving. The shot was fired from the “sniper’s nest” on the 6th story of the Texas School Book Depository, however missing the target badly, hitting instead the sidewalk on the left side of the street, seen from the position of the sniper, where Elm Street curves slightly to the left down the gently sloping ground towards “the triple underpass”.

Hence, Kennedy entered the range of the snipers immediately after the motorcade having turned abruptly to the left from Houston Street and into Elm Street. As many as five snipers in five different positions were waiting to give him a fatal head shot. The first one came from the position in advance prepared as the scene of the planned official cover-up story. In order to make the story as credible as possible a sniper was placed there, giving the starting signal to the assassination with the first shot. It is not unlikely that this sniper was Lyndon Johnson’s “hit man” Malcolm Wallace! As seen above, the Zapruder film and the Croft photo show that Kennedy as well as Jackie and governor Conally (perhaps unconsciously) reacted to the sound of the shot or to the hit in the wayside. Many witnesses testified afterwards that initially they thought the crack of the rifle shot came from fireworks or from a muffler of one of the police motorcycles.  Not until several cracks were heard, many people realized that shots were actually being fired. Many witnesses were able to identify the direction from which the shots were fired, but not all of them reported the same direction, and this is of course quite natural when shots are being fired from several directions at the same time. Most people do not provide very good witness observations, hence only by comparing observations from a large number of people is it possible to form a somewhat realistic understanding of the situation. Also, many different factors determine what a witness is able to register; the position of the witness in relation to the presidential vehicle, distance, disturbing elements, focal point, individual quality of vision and hearing abilities etc. Some people are only able to focus on a few details and tend to overlook other important events or aspects. When we do not remember, or where there are gaps in the observations, many people have a tendency to fabricate the missing pieces in order to create a more complete picture. And last but not least: Most people are very susceptible to manipulations if they are just the least bit uncertain about what they have been observing. This latter aspect was evidently clear to the people responsible for making the cover-up story credible, and many witnesses report that they were exposed to influence, persuasion and pressure from persons of authority during the first hours after the assassination. However, a few witnesses adhere to what they claim to have seen and heard, and not all police officers in the area were involved in the conspiracy plans, and hence there were in fact some police officers at the scene of crime who made an honest attempt to uncover what in reality had taken place. During the very first days after the murder several newspapers reported witness observations completely contrary to the official cover-up story, however relatively soon the official cover-up story of a lone sniper having shot from the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository was established as the truth. In relation to the first shot missing its target we have several certain observations of a hit at the wayside, but any possible mark after a rifle bullet was removed by the Dallas City authorities following the so called Breneman and West reconstruction that took place on December 5.

Searching the internet it is not difficult to find photos of Dealey Plaza where John F. Kennedy was murdered. This small, green oasis surrounded by buildings, roads and railway tracks, has become a location to which Europeans as well as Americans flock in order to get a closer look of the scene of the murder and experience the atmosphere of the place. Many dark secrets are still linked to the sequence of events of November 22, 1963. Evil persons were active on the day of the murder, during the planning phase before that and in the course of the cover-up operation afterwards. The murder is a bad ulcer in the history of the USA, and still more than 50 years after the country killed its own president, they have not managed to organize a genuine showdown with the kind of evil which was behind the deed, where strong power groupings participated in the murder itself as well as hiding the clues after the people responsible. However, it requires considerable courage to grasp the idea that one’s own authorities, intelligence agencies, police and even Presidents have been in collusion with the most brutal criminals of the country! The left-hand picture was taken in 1967, four years after the killing, and it is easy to see why precisely this particular stretch of road was picked by the sniper team. Along the gently sloping hill towards the railway overpass snipers could be positioned in such a way that they would be able to aim at Kennedy from behind, from the Texas School Book Depository (with the large Hertz advertisement) and from the Dal Tex building immediately behind, from the side at the parking lot to the left of Elm Street, as seen from here, and from the front, from “the triple underpass” – close by the parking lot in the right hand side of the picture. The different positions were selected because they commanded a good view of the motorcade, in addition to good escape potentials, and also the snipers could easily hide themselves. Out of the five positions William Orchard has demonstrated in his scenario the “sniper’s nest” was by far the worst, and Orchards assumes that the only reason why a sniper was placed here was in order to more easily pin the murder on Oswald. No one (except perhaps the sniper himself) believed that the sniper here would be able to hit Kennedy. However, very soon the official story was established; that Oswald had operated completely singlehandedly and that he was the lone sniper on the 6th floor in the School Book Depository, towards which the police officer in the right hand photo is looking.

“The murderer” had made it next to incredibly simple for the investigators. Upper left is the “sniper’s nest” which the “killer” had arranged and left in such a way that there would be no doubt whatsoever that it was from here the shots came. And not only that, among the cardboard boxes he had left the “murder weapon”, an Italian rifle of particularly poor quality, a so called Mannlicher-Carcano, that is very slow to operate and with which one cannot possibly fire three shots in the course of the sex and a half second that it took between the first and the third shot according to the calculations. And not only did he leave the rifle! As if in order to remove the tiniest shred of doubt that the lone “killer’s” position had been found, he also left three cartridges. If only every murderer would be as generous in leaving damning evidence! Did no one react against this being just somewhat too obvious? To the right is the view as seen from the “sniper’s nest”. Not a particularly suitable position for a sniper. The motorcade was for a long time hidden by a tree blocking the view. The other four snipers had decidedly better chances to hit the president.

Then the streets once again resounded with a shot, the second one, and this time the sniper actually hit his target. In the Zapruder film it is obvious to see that something has happened with Kennedy as the vehicle is emerging behind the “Stemmons freeway”-sign which has been covering the car! He lifts both arms, elbows bent, in front of his face as if in order to protect himself. But when did the shot actually hit? If I have understood the Zapruder specialist John Costella correctly, he claims that those who manipulated and forged the Zapruder film have managed to move the sign such that it completely or partially covers the picture-frame where Kennedy was hit. I agree with him 100%, for there is overwhelming evidence that Kennedy was hit in the neck from the front and that the wound in the back must be the exit wound. It suffices to look at Kennedy’s position in the vehicle shortly before the shot hits. He is turning slightly to the right, the body and the head is completely straight and his head is turning to the right. If he had been hit in the back by a shot from the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository the bullet’s trajectory in the angle from above and downwards would result in the entry wound being more elevated in the back than the exit wound in the neck. However, in actual fact the opposite was true, even if the people responsible for making the cover-up story have done their utmost to make it seem as if Kennedy was shot in the back. Kennedy, who was still alive after the assassination in spite of the massive head injuries, was taken to the nearest hospital, Parkland Hospital in Dallas, where life-saving treatment started immediately, notwithstanding the fact that it was very soon realized his life could not be saved. But Kennedy was given a blood transfusion and a small cut was made in the neck allowing a thin tube in order to maintain the breathing. Apparently the physicians of Parkland were not initiated in the conspiracy, for they could report that Kennedy had a small wound in the neck below the Adam’s apple, approximately 3 mm in diameter, which in their view was an entry wound. Their report did not at all mention the wound in the back, which was not registered at this point in time. This is in very marked contrast to what was later reported when Secret Service, after Kennedy having been declared deceased at 13H00 PM, claimed the body with force in order to take it to Washington to have a post-mortem examination done under their complete control at Bethesda Naval Hospital. Legislation stated that Kennedy must be autopsied in Dallas, and it was highly irregular to remove the body from the state where the crime had been committed. There are obviously large discrepancies between the wounds as reported by the physicians at Parkland and what was later on claimed by the “official” post-mortem team. Why, even the photos released after the post-mortem are obviously forged, and I would go so far as to claim that someone actually had doctored Kennedy’s wounds, intending them to better tally with the cover-up story about the three shots from the back originating from the lone sniper – in other words: desecration of the body!

Above is one of the official post-mortem photos. At Parkland a small cut was made in the neck in the area of the entry wound, however the wound appearing in the photo has the hallmark of having been enlarged in order to make it look like an exit wound. The left hand picture shows one of the Warren Commission’s drawings of how they claim the neck-wound is to have passed through Kennedy’s body and emerged in the throat pit. But this wound in the back does not exist!

The illustration to the left is also one of the Warren Commission’s own drawings. It shows how the two entry wounds are supposed to have hit in the back of the head and in the neck. And it is probably true that if the bullet had emerged in the throat pit, then the shot must have hit the right hand side of the neck, since Kennedy was turned towards the right when he was hit. The big problem, however, is that the wound has been placed totally erroneously! There was no wound in Kennedy’s body in that location! As can be seen from the official post-mortem photo, published much later, Kennedy had several wounds in his back but none on the right hand side of his neck! Hence, the drawing is evidently a forgery of the realities! It seems quite simply as if the draughtsman hasn’t seen the post-mortem pictures but simply has based his work upon instructions from someone who wished the wounds to be located in such a way that they tallied with the official explanation. Hence, the wound in the head is a fake, but I will come back to that later!

Left a drawing of an imagined trajectory, drawn by the physician Dr Lattimer, allegedly based on x-ray pictures of Kennedy’s body. It appears to be pretty reliable had it not been for the not trifling detail that the post-mortem picture of Kennedy’s back abundantly clearly shows that there was no wound in the neck! The Warren Commission has twisted its drawing slightly in order to obtain better compliance between the bullet wounds and the alleged trajectory, hence depicting Kennedy bending forward. This makes the bullet wounds correspond better with the post-mortem pictures, however it has the disadvantage that all the pictures of Kennedy, from immediately before this shot hit, show that Kennedy was in fact not bending forward in his sitting position, rather he was sitting with a straight back and head lifted up! There is only one shot position that tallies with the wounds, namely a shot from in front, to be more specific obliquely from above and slightly from the right hand side – from the “grassy knoll”. But in that case surely there ought to be a mark in the back of the car seat where the bullet came out of Kennedy’s back? And, yes, quite so – see one of the official pictures of the presidential vehicle below. Incidentally, I must add that I do not at all consider the post-mortem pictures to be sterling pieces of evidence per se, for they are quite obviously forgeries. I will revert to this aspect later. But when the post-mortem pictures evidently show something differing from the official Warren reports, then I believe it is sufficient proof that something must be amiss and that someone is lying!

One of the official pictures of the presidential vehicle taken right after the assassination does show a mark in the leather in about the spot where a bullet would have hit after having hit Kennedy in the throat pit and gone through his body. But why don’t we see a more well-defined crater in Kennedy’s back as a result of an exit wound? My answer is that one of the wounds showing in the post-mortem picture may well be the exit wound. Kennedy was wearing a shirt and a suit and was leaning against the car seat. This may have prevented the bullet from tearing up a bigger wound. Also, we must assume that the shooter has used a so called high powered rifle and ammunition of the full metal jacket type, i.e. a very hard bullet that will perforate the body at very high velocity without leaving large wounds. The medics trying to save Kennedy’s life at the Parkland Hospital in Dallas did report about a small entry wound in the president’s throat. They also reported about a large exit wound on the right side of the president’s occipital (back of the head)!!

Above excerpts of the Zapruder film showing Kennedy’s movements about the point in time when many people assume he was hit for the first time – by the shot which in reality was the third shot fired at him. We see that Kennedy is looking to his right, waving at the crowd, on these still pictures from z188 until z194. William Orchard believes that Kennedy was hit in the throat in frame z188. When assessing in which frame Kennedy was hit, we must bear in mind that the Zapruder camera took almost 20 pictures per second, and Kennedy’s reaction to the wound would not show immediately, rather perhaps after a few tenth of a second.

This shows the Zapruder frames z195-z202. The question is whether there are any movements that seem “abnormal” in this sequence. Kennedy’s right hand is still lifted up, but is it a perfectly normal waving movement, or is it the beginning of a movement of the hand towards the throat we are seeing? It is very difficult to determine with certainty, but is does seem as if he is clutching his throat. Kennedy is soon to disappear out of our range of vision behind the road sign. Personally I am of the opinion that the sign turns up in the completely “wrong” place, seen in relation to the Bentzner- and the Willis-pictures seen above. Later on I shall explain in detail the reasons why I believe so.

Above we see the last frames before Kennedy disappears completely behind the road sign, - rather, I have not included the last frames z207 until z211 since they show only the top of Kennedy’s head and actually cannot tell us anything about when he was hit. It is not very easy to determine if all of Kennedy’s movements are completely natural waving motions in the last pictures. It may be the case that he has a movement towards the throat, but it is also possible that the movement is due to something else. In the first picture after Kennedy having emerged behind the sign, z225, we see that his hand has been lowered, and that may be because of a natural and normal movement. However on the following two pictures he has obviously been hit and the hand is on its way to the throat where he has been hit by a shot from the grassy knoll. We must also not forget that it is most likely the film has been tampered with, and even that which seems most obvious may be due to a forgery. Personally I have been very much in doubt about the timing of the hit in Kennedy’s throat, and what makes me particularly doubtful is precisely Zapruder frame z225, because it is easy to perceive the picture as if Kennedy hasn’t yet reacted to the hit, even if it is obvious that he does so in the next frame, merely 5 hundreds of a second later. However, at any rate I draw the conclusion that he must have been hit several frames earlier. In frames z226 and z227 it seems Kennedy makes a slight forward movement, and this may be caused by the springs of the backseat pushing him forward after the shot having pushed him backwards, applying pressure on the springs. Why then cannot the forward movement be caused by him being shot from behind, someone might perhaps ask. This option possibly cannot be excluded merely on the basis of the Zapruder film, however as I have shown above the injuries inflicted on Kennedy makes it impossible for a shot to have hit him from behind, at least coming from the 6th floor of The School Book Depository building. If the wound in his back had been an entry wound, then the exit wound have been located on the left side of Kennedy’s chest, and nobody has reported about any bullet wound there! We may also ask ourselves if it would be a natural movement for a person being shot in the back to lift his hands in front of the throat in order to protect himself.

This picture was taken immediately after both Kennedy and Connally having been hit. It was taken by the Associated Press photographer James Altgens, and it is an example of a picture which those responsible for the cover-up history – CIA, FBI and the Sheriff’s Office in Dallas – would probably have liked very much to have gotten hold of, as with so many other pictures and films they confiscated or persuaded the owner to submit to them voluntarily in the period after the murder. However this photo went around the world relatively soon after the killing, and hence it was no longer possible to do anything about it. It is a very interesting picture for several reasons. It may not look very dramatic at first glance, but if one makes a blow-up showing the situation inside the presidential vehicle, you will see that Kennedy has been hit in the neck, and he is holding his left arm, bent elbow and clenched fist in front of his throat, while Jackie is holding his arm. Also Connally has been hit at this point in time and is turning halfway backwards. The most revealing part of the picture, however, is not the scene inside the car, rather it is the way it documents the incredible passiveness of the security agents. Their job is to protect the president and his wife, and here, several seconds after the first shot has resounded, they remain standing motionless, staring into space. Note that the door of vehicle number four (the white one) is about to open. It is Johnson’s security agent reacting, wishing to protect the Vice President in the vehicle in front! The distance from the Secret Service-car and to the presidential vehicle seems to be less than one meter, and the velocity was exceedingly low, therefore were it not to have been expected that security guards doing their duty would have reacted much earlier, jumped off the car and run forward in order to save the President’s life? Perhaps some would excuse them on account of the agents not yet having understood what was going on, but then again: isn’t it exactly this kind of situations they have been training for? To react with lightning speed at the smallest sign of a threat? It is known that the Secret Service agents, contrary to the regulations, were out drinking way into the night before November 22, but surely they cannot have been as listless as to fail to identify rifle shots? Another very interesting thing about this picture is that it was taken facing the Dal Tex building where in all probability there was a sniper. It is assumed that he must have been on the 2nd story behind the scaffolding which is partially hiding the window. Photo experts examining an enlargement of the picture believe they are able to identify persons in the hidden window, but this can probably not be considered decisive proof there was a sniper there. According to William Orchard he has probably used a silencer.

In an enlargement of the Altgens-picture Kennedy’s left hand and Jackie’s hand wearing a white glove holding his arm can be clearly seen. Connally, who at this point in time had been hit, is sitting turned to the right.

According to the Warren Commission the Altgens-photo has been taken simultaneously as the Zapruder frame z255, seen above. And here, seen from a different angle, the same scene as shown in the Altgens-picture, because they show almost exactly the same scene. Incidentally, Z253 and several succeeding frames show almost exactly the same thing.

However, there is another not unimportant detail by the Altgens-photo which has surprised Kennedy-researchers, and that is the motor cyclist to the left of the presidential car, clearly seen in the above segment – James Chaney. Whatever became of him in the Zapruder-film? He is much further ahead than the two motor cyclists on the other side of the car! To me it looks as if Chaney is observing everything happening in the presidential vehicle at very close range. But instead of doing something to prevent more shots at the president, one can see from still pictures from other films that Chaney slowed down and positioned himself further behind the presidential limousine. He stated in an interview right after the assassination that shots were coming from behind but also said that Kennedy was shot “in the face”.

Here is the complete Zapruder frame, showing the same scene as in the left hand picture. You see the two police officers on motorcycles on the right hand side of the presidential vehicle, a little further behind, but the motor cyclist to the left of the car, James Chaney, is not seen. Doesn’t it look as if he is halfway up, adjacent to the car, on the Altgens photo? Many people claim the “disappeared” motor cyclist to be yet another proof that the Zapruder film has been manipulated and forged. Incidentally, Chaney was never heard by the Warren Commission, strangely enough.

In the left hand picture, originally Zapruder frame z255, I have made an extra copy of one of the motorcycling police officers and placed him on the spot where it seems that motorcyclist James Chaney was at the instant when AP photographer James Altgens took his picture right after Kennedy having been shot in the throat pit. To me it appears quite obvious that he is to the left of the presidential car, almost at level with President Kennedy, or at least just behind him. It is difficult to find a logical explanation why Chaney is not on the Zapruder-film after they had passed the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign. But it is difficult to avoid the conclusion that there is obviously something not tallying! Perhaps it has something to do with the position of the sign in the film? Because I would like to claim most decisively that the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign in the position we see it in the Zapruder-film is a forgery! I shall try to show this in the images below!

However, before that we need to take a close look at how the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign is positioned in the Zapruder-film. Above is the last frame before Kennedy disappears completely behind the sign, z211, and the first frame when he is once more visible, z225. In other words, Kennedy is completely hidden for as much as 12 frames, or for a little more than half a second. Posterior tests of the Zapruder camera showed that it took approximately 18 pictures a second. The pictures above clearly show that Kennedy’s head disappears at the upper edge of the road sign and that he also reappears from the upper right hand corner of the sign. How does this harmonize with the Betzner- and Willis-photos taken just a few tenth of a second earlier? Very poorly, as you will see in the images below!

In order to show very clearly in these images where Kennedy’s head is situated in relation to the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign, I have inserted red auxiliary lines drawn from Zapruder’s camera, which is very clearly visible in these pictures. In the left hand picture, taken by Betzner, there is a red line from Zapruder and to each of the corners of the lower edge of the sign. As you will see, Kennedy’s head has just passed the corner of the sign at the lower end! It seems quite obvious that it will never be possible, as seen from Zapruder’s position, to see Kennedy’s head above the sign. In my view it also doesn’t look as if Kennedy will be hidden behind the sign at all, rather that he will be visible at all times while the car is passing by. Most experts assume that the Betzner-photo correspond to z186, and this means that if the Zapruder-film had not been doctored, then the top of Kennedy’s head had been visible below the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign in the frame. This should also indicate that the Betzner-photo was shot somewhat later than z186. The Willis-photo to the right shows approximately the same scenario, just some tenth of a second later. We see that Kennedy is heading towards the edge of the sign, and at the same time the picture seems to show that he has been visible to Zapruder below the sign all the time. At any rate, the picture shows quite clearly that Kennedy could never have been seen by Zapruder above the sign. Consequently, the Zapruder-film has clearly been doctored and forged in order to hide something. But what was it? Was the intention to conceal the hit, since it will reveal that he was shot from in front and not from behind; or was it an attempt to make it look as if he was not hit in z188 but in z224, simultaneously with Connally, in order to confirm the correctness of “the single bullet” – and that Kennedy and Connally were hit by the same shot from the same sniper – the lone killer, Lee Harvey Oswald? It is hard to determine with 100% certainty! Incidentally, the red arrow in the right hand picture shows where James Chaney was positioned when this photo was taken. Compare with the above Altgens-photo!

Based on the Betzner- and Willis-photos it is not difficult to calculate approximately where the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign ought to have been positioned, seen from Zapruder’s position! In the above picture, 213, I have drawn a simple sketch of the sign as it must have appeared on the original Zapruder-film. In my view this is a clear and indisputable proof that the Zapruder-film was doctored afterwards by the FBI and that the version we know today is a forgery. In actual fact Kennedy was visible below the road sign all of the time, not hidden during 12 frames. But as you will see, for a period of time the sign was hiding the two police officers riding motorcycles to the left of the car, and in addition a girl in a red skirt and a white hoodie, part of the bushes in the background and the trunk of a tree. How did the forgers manage to make the picture look so genuine and authentic where they removed the original sign? I will discuss that later on in this article. But whether the forgery was made in order to hide Kennedy’s reaction as he was hit, since it clearly appears that he was hit from the front, or whether it was done in order to make it look as if Kennedy and Connally were hit by the same shot - whatever the case may be, there can be no doubt whatsoever that Kennedy was hit from the front and not from behind!

This is an official photo of Dealey Plaza apparently taken the day after the Kennedy assassination. But here the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign seems to be in exactly the same position as in the Zapruder-film! Isn’t that sufficient proof that the film must be genuine? Well, the question is valid, but it is very simple, the way I see it, to create this view with the sign hiding the entire road. You only need to shoot the photo from a location a little bit higher than from where Zapruder was shooting his film. And that shouldn’t be a problem whatsoever. There are walls as well as buildings and trees close to the spot where Zapruder was standing and from which it would be possible to take the photo without any problems and then claim that it was taken from exactly the same position as Zapruder’s. Evidently, the sign can also have been removed by means of photo-technical methods. But couldn’t somebody just test the positioning by mounting the pedestal where Zapruder was standing and shoot a new photo aiming at the disputed sign? Unfortunately it is not that easy. The Dallas authorities had it removed shortly after the Kennedy-assassination! Not particularly surprising, I have to admit! We should not let ourselves be surprised by the amount of forgeries and maneuvers in order to have the evidence comply with the official story about the lone sniper who shot Kennedy from behind. Also, we should not be surprised by the extent and number of implicated persons, who undoubtedly have included document forgers and photo experts!

By means of a simple perspective drawing it is very simple to calculate which parts of the Willis-photo that will be outside Zapruder’s range of vision on account of being hidden behind the “Stemmons Freeway” sign. You simply draw up four lines, all of them radiating from the Zapruder lens and penetrating each corner of the sign. The lines will then form a pyramid with a square bottom and its acme in Zapruder’s lens. It is now possible, very easily and quickly, to register what is inside the pyramid, invisible to Zapruder, and what is outside the pyramid, visible to Zapruder. As you can see, Kennedy’s head is well outside the sign, and he will be visible to Zapruder all the time while the presidential vehicle passes by the sign. If you draw up lines between all four “corner lines” such as I have done precisely above Kennedy’s head you will be able to make a parallel-shifting of the sign and calculate exactly how much of the background that will be covered by the sign, as seen from Zapruder’s perspective.  I hope all readers will understand that this is a totally irrefutable proof that the Zapruder-film has been forged in order to hide something. To the right is Zapruder frame z200 where both the photographers, Betzner and Willis, can be seen holding their camera. It should be obvious to everybody that the position of the "Stemmons Freeay"-sign is totally different in the Zapruder-film, where it seems that Kenndy is visable to Zapruder above the sign, while the Willis photo shows the truth: Kennedy was visible to Zapruder below the sign!. The same can be seen on the pictures below, where Betzner can be seen as he shoots his photo in z189, and his picture is to the right.

This comparison between one of the official pictures from shortly after the killing and one of the Zapruder film frames shows that these two pictures cannot possible have been taken from the same position. I believe already to have proven that the Zapruder-film has been forged in this sequence, but irrespectively if it is a forgery or not, we see, at any rate, when comparing these two pictures that they must have been taken from different positions. The red vertical line has been drawn up exactly in the corner of the white wall and should have hit the sign at the same spot, if both pictures had been taken from the pedestal on which Zapruder was standing when he was filming. The blue horizontal line is merely an auxiliary line showing that the signs have not been rotated in relation to each other.

This is a comparison between the black-and-white picture of Dealey Plaza and the real position of the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign as it should have been on the original Zapruder-film according to my calculations. As you can see, the sign on the official photo has been put far too low and too far to the right. This indicates to us that the photographer was not standing on the same pedestal as Zapruder; rather that he was in a higher position and more to the left. Perhaps he was standing on the small concrete building seen to the right of Zapruder in the Willis-photo, or on the wall extending from this building. He cannot possibly have been standing on the “Zapruder pedestal”!

I hope I have been able to convince skeptics, possibly reading my article, that the so called “Stemmons Freeway”-sign in fact has been manipulated and given a different position in the Zapruder-film as we know it today. Zapruder was interviewed on television already a few hours after the Kennedy assassination, and his story about the filming was broadcast directly. The FBI knew at a very early stage that this was a film they needed to get hold of, and already the following morning all the rights had been sold to “LIFE”, including a copy that Zapruder supposedly planned to keep. There are a number of bizarre circumstances attached to this selling, and Zapruder initially alleged that he sold the film for 25,000 $, but when the contract was made public, it turned out that he in reality had received 150,000 $. However, taking into consideration the large amount the magazine had “forked” out in order to secure the rights, they did amazingly little to get any return on their investment. It rather seems as if they purchased the film in order to prevent someone else to be able to see it, and they did not sell the screening rights to anyone else and refused to show the film publicly. Only selected still pictures from the film were used by the magazine itself and sold to others. Even when the investigator Jim Garrison brought the matter before a court of law in order to have a copy handed over, LIFE Magazine took the matter all the way to the Supreme Court in order to prevent Garrison from obtaining a copy. It took many years before the American public got a chance to see the film that had existed for all those years, showing the assassination of their President. Not until 12 years after the murder, in 1975, was the Zapruder-film shown on public television. The man negotiating the contract with Zapruder on behalf of LIFE is, incidentally, said to have had close contacts with the CIA, and most Kennedy investigators assume that LIFE and FBI/CIA cooperated to ensure that the film would not become known to the public.

The CIA/FBI/Sheriff’s Office in Dallas had obviously very good opportunities to secure the photo- and film-material from Dallas on 22 November 1963. It goes without saying that the public wants to share as much information as possible with the police in order to assist the investigation, and only very few people will be as distrustful of the police as to suspect the very officers who are to protect us of actually being co-conspirators in the criminal act. However, this was definitely the case in this incident, and it is known from several witnesses that the police and the FBI-agents systematically “vacuum-cleaned” the spectators of their photo and film shots. One of the witnesses standing closest to the assassination, Mary Moorman, who took a very famous Polaroid photo of Kennedy just before the fatal head shot also took a photo directly turned towards Kennedy when he had been shot in the throat pit, but she was holding the camera too high in such a way that it was instead showing the entire Texas School Book Depository building. She was requested to hand over this photo to a police officer, and she never saw it again.

But is it really possible to remove a sign in a film and give it an entirely different position, many people will probably wonder. My answer is: Yes, definitely – even with the technique available in 1963. It would be quickly accomplished to send out a person to take some “auxiliary photos” from the scene of crime, covering various positions in order to be able to fill in the “hiatuses” which would crop up when the sign was removed from the picture frames. And, as already mentioned, the Dallas authorities made sure to remove the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign shortly after the assassination in order to ensure that nobody else would take pictures of the sign from Zapruder’s position for reasons of comparison. In addition, there would have been no problem copying persons appearing earlier or later in the film and then insert the copies in the film in places where they are not in the original film. One of the survivors, Chester Breneman, has told that he was allowed to examine large photographic papers showing the picture frames one after the other, because he wanted help to calculate distances and positions. In one of these large pictures one could see that Kennedy was shot in the head from in front, and that blood and brain mass sprayed out of a large exit hole in the back of the head, but nothing of this can be seen in the version of the Zapruder-film that has become known – because it has been edited!

Precisely in the sequence where the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign is visible - in my view clearly in the wrong place – from z197 until about z218 the presidential vehicle, according to Kennedy-researchers, only advanced 10 feet or half of the expected distance as judged from the known velocity. I believe that this is what we see in John Costella’s collage of the picture frames, since they appear very densely in this sequence. But there are also several other circumstances that appear very suspicious when studying the frames one after another, focusing on the persons who in my view have been inserted. And the most central of them is the child standing in the centre of the sign, that way I have placed it, namely a child in white hoodie and red knee-length pants. This is probably one of the small daughters of Philip Willis, who took one of the most important photos of Kennedy at Elm Street (see above). Willis said in his testimony that his daughters were running down the hill adjacent to the presidential vehicle, and that he, after having shot one of his famous pictures, shouted to them to stop and come back. And quite right, we see in the Zapruder-film that the girl in red and white is firstly running along the motorcade, and then stops while she is looking behind. The she makes a movement with her right arm as if she is waving or maybe about to point out a direction, but it is also possible that she is moving her arm as a kind of sign that she is annoyed for being ordered to stop. The movements of the girl from here are very interesting to study, for according to my calculations she is, about this point in time, being covered by the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign in the original Zapruder-film. And it is precisely the movement of the arm which is worth a closer study. The movement extends only to three picture frames, z186 until z188 or some 15 hundredth of a second. During this extremely short period of time she still has time to move the arm from being lifted adjacent to her head to pointing straight forward and then to hang along the side, parallel with her other arm. If you compare this with her movements as she is running we see that the movements of her feet and arms change slowly from frame to frame and none of these movements are even close to being executed as abruptly and with such great turns from one frame to the other. I believe this must be a particularly important indicator that Willlis’ daughter has been mounted into the film in this sequence, and that the forgers have not been very successful in making her movements credible!

And the ultra-rapid arm movement is far from being the only suspicious movement one can observe in the case of Willis’ daughter. After having lifted the arm she puts both legs down in parallel and remains standing still, both arms hanging alongside in picture frame z189. Her feet are still in z190, z191 and z192, but then we see some odd movements with one of her feet in frame z193 and z194 and then again in z196, but otherwise the feet are still, as is practically her entire body, all the way to z214. The only movement one may possibly sense is that she possibly turns her head a fraction. But then in z215 she suddenly turns her face almost 45 degrees to the left towards the head of the presidential motorcade, and the movement continues in the next images.  When assessing these movements you must keep in mind that Zapruder’s camera captured approximately 18 pictures per second, and a movement at normal speed will be seen across many picture frames, since e.g. a foot or an arm will gradually change its position in the course of a number of frames. From one picture frame to the next one only a little less than 6 hundredth of a second will pass. Of course, children may sometimes make sudden movements which seem illogical to a grownup, and hence we have to take into account such unexpected things, but to my mind the sequence with the feet seems not logical, even if we cannot count it as a piece of secure evidence that the sequence has been put together in order to cover a hiatus in the film. However, if we put together all the abnormal and far too rapid movements Willis’s daughter performs in the short time she is in the Zapruder-film, then I believe we have some very strong presumptions to suspect that the film has been manipulated by “picking out” pictures of the girl in the frames where she is visible, and “gluing them in” in the areas and sequences where the film had hiatuses after the sign which had been removed.

We can see approximately the same phenomenon with the two police officers driving on the left hand side of the motorcade, Billy Joe Martin and Bobby Hargis. Bob Hargis is the police officer in sunglasses nearest to the motorcade, and if you study his head movements in detail frame by frame they appear extremely odd. In frame z198 he is looking ahead, in z199 to the right, in z200 ahead, z201 to the right, z202 ahead, x203 to the right, z204 ahead, z205 to the right, z206 ahead, z214 to the right, z215 ahead,.... etc. This kind of head movements are also quite impossible to carry out for a human being, and once again they prove that the forger has cut out a sequence of Bobby Hargis’ movements while he was visible and inserted them into the large gap where the “Stemmons Freeway” was removed.

It is also worth noting that the movements of a few of the other persons, e.g. some of the spectators to the right of the motorcade and the two security agents on the left hand side of the car, Clint Hill and William T. McIntyre, are “frozen” during the time they are in focus close to the girl in red hoodie and red shorts. The security agents do follow the forward movement of the vehicle, but otherwise they do not move at all, as if they are frozen in a particular position. I must admit feeling that the proportions between the heads of the security agents and the heads of the two police officers change during the sequence, but I don’t have sufficiently sensitive measuring instruments to establish this with certainty. But surely someone will be able to do that with scientific certainty!

This short sequence from the Zapruder-film shows the previously mentioned girl, Philip Willis’ daughter, Rosemary, with white hoodie and red shorts, covering frames z186 until z188. I haven’t removed any frames, hence these are all the pictures and in their correct, original sequence. In the first picture we see the girl with her right hand raised level to her head and bent elbow. In the following picture she seems to point forward with her arm, as if to show the direction of those she is looking at. One doesn’t see the arm clearly, but it is definitely not hanging down alongside the body. However, this is how it is positioned in the last picture. The shadows on the girl’s jacket when the arm was pointing forward look approximately as they did in z187, but one can see very clearly that arm is now hanging down, parallel with the other arm. I am certain that such a sudden arm movement from having been lifted above the head and until it stays hanging down alongside the body cannot be possible in a little more than 15 hundredths of a second! In my estimation there must have been a big gap in the Zapruder-film precisely here, after they have removed the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign, and in my view the girl’s movements leave a clear impression that she has been cut and pasted into the picture and that they have been lacking a natural finish to the arm movement. As you can see, the sharpness of the pictures varies a lot. This must have been an advantage for the forgers but evidently also a challenge. All details ought of course to appear equally sharp, respectively equally blurred! Personally I also think there is something odd about the tree to the left of the girl. It seems almost painted on, however not that I can prove it. It is equally possible that one of the forgers photographed the tree a few days after the assassination, enabling it to be inserted into the gap in the film!

Here is another detail botched up by the forgers! These two pictures are z214 respectively z215, likewise fabricated by photomontage. In this case the girl’s head movement is totally unrealistic. In z214 she is looking to the left and the face is hidden inside the hood of the white hoodie, while in the next frame – in other words following a little more than 5 hundredth of a second after the first one – she is looking straight ahead. No human being moves her head in this way! It is impossible! I must admit that I suspect the dark spot which is to depict the girl’s head has been painted or drawn in order to make it look as if she is turning her head, preventing her to be frozen in the same position for far too long, but this is just my personal opinion.

Here is a sequence stretching from z198 to z205 showing the two police officers on motorcycle, Billy Joe Martin and Bobby Hargis. Watch closely Officer Bobby Hargis closest to the motorcade. His head moves from being straight forward to being turned to the right on every second frame! – z198 straight ahead, z199 to the right, z200 straight ahead, z201 to the right, z202 straight ahead, z203 to the right, z205 to the right!! It appears as if the forgers have cut out a sequence of two pictures of Hargis and glued them in consecutively after the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign! No wonder that “LIFE” tried to prevent the forged Zapruder-film to leak. It is not only a fabrication, in addition the forgery is rather amateurish and easy to unmask!

This picture of Wilma Bond was taken immediately after the assassination of the president, and we see that several people are still sitting or lying on the grass in order to protect themselves from the bullets! The photo was taken directly facing what is called “the picket fence” which separates “the grassy knoll” from the parking lot just behind. A large number of witnesses reported of shots coming from behind the fence, and there were also observations of unusual activity in the parking lot during the last hour before the murder; a witness also related that he had seen the shooter and a companion stowing away the weapon and leave the spot. William Orchard is of the opinion that shot #2 and #4 came from the sniper probably positioned close by the corner of the fence, or a little to the left of the big tree. The first shot hit Kennedy in the throat, went through his body, exited the back and “dug” a tear in the backseat of the presidential vehicle. Orchard believes that the second shot from this sniper, shot #4, hit the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign, as a witness reported. Just after this picture was taken, police officers as well as a large amount of spectators rushed towards the grassy knoll in order to look for a possible killer, but none was found.

In William Orchard’s representation of the shooting scenario shot #3 came from position #2 in my above overview: 2nd floor of the Dal Tex-building adjacent to the schoolbook depository. No witnesses reported directly about shots coming from this building, but if all  shotsare to harmonize with the other facts, then necessarily there must have been shots fired from several positions behind Kennedy, for no lone killer would have been even close to being able to fire all of those shots coming from behind the motorcade. It has been relatively well established among Kennedy assassination investigators that a sniper must have been in the Dal Tex-building. Orchard assumes that the first shot fired from there was the one hitting a curb stone on the eastside of Main Street approximately one meter in front of the railway underpass. Coincidentally a person was standing almost exactly on this spot, namely James Tague. He had not come in order to see the President; rather he had to stop his car because the traffic was totally blocked along Commerce Street. He was hit by a spray of cement particles in his face, tearing up skin and causing bleeding, but he repressed it for a while because of the drama unfolding; but afterwards a police officer alerted him to the blood, and he then told what had happened, namely that a shot had hit the curb stone some meter in front of him, causing particles to hit his face. The police officer stayed with him in order to observe the hitting spot, and within a few hours the story had become known by many people, among them several journalists. Hence it was too late to change or wipe out the traces after this shot, and when it became known to the public it must have caused dismay among the people about to establish the three-shot theory as the truth! The official explanation was that a total of three shots had been fired, all from the same spot: 6th story of the schoolbook depository, by a lone shooter: Lee Harvey Oswald. Two shots had hit Kennedy, one in the back and one in the head, and one shot had hit Governor Connally in the arm pit. The sniper in “the sniper’s nest” was depending on receiving signals concerning how many cartridges he was supposed to leave and he probably had an assistant at street level who signaled three hits. However, now it was documented that one of the shots had hit a curb stone in Main Street, there were even photos taken of the marks in the stone, and James Tagues’ injuries had been photographed and could not be explained away. There was no room for making up yet another cartridge. Consequently the official story had necessarily to be altered, and the result was the rather ludicrous story about “the magic bullet” launched by a member of the Warren Commission – the single bullet which had allegedly hit Kennedy in the back and by some kind of magic had exited the throat, changed direction several times and hit Connally in the armpit, wrist and thigh. It is quite unbelievable that anybody was prepared to swallow such nonsense – but whatever; everything goes, when people have the nerve! William Orchard claims that James Tague should be satisfied that his story was made public as quickly as it did. In case his testimony had been shared only with a few friends or spectators and had then reached any of the conspirators, he would undoubtedly have been killed, according to Orchard. And I believe he is absolutely right! This happened in the case of several others possessing incriminating evidence!

It is not possible to establish the exact time of this shot, for the shooter in the Dal Tex-building probably used a silencer. This is the reason why the sound impulse cannot be identified, neither by witnesses nor by the sound recording done by a policeman on motorcycle with an open microphone. Recordings were made from his microphone at the police station, and the recordings have subsequently been analyzed meticulously, and they have registered a total of six sound impulses identifiable as shots! In terms of timing William Orchard’s scenario tallies perfectly with the recording! However, what Orchard has identified as shot #3 was apparently fired with a silencer and has therefore not been registered. What is certain is that it cannot have been shot #1 that hit right in front of James Tague, because he was certain that he heard shots before he was hit, and since bullets from such rifle shots move faster than sound, Tague would have been hit by particles before he heard the shot, in case it had been shot #1 hitting in front of him! Actually, a piece of the road surface was later on cut out by the FBI and put forward as evidence by the Warren Commission.

This is a section of a picture taken by Cancellare a few seconds after the presidential vehicle quickly disappeared under the railway underpass. The man standing to the right in front of the concrete pillar is James Tague, who has just been hit by a spray of small particles in his face, caused by a rifle shot hitting a curb stone in the street right in front of him!

Luckily for James Tague his observations were shared by several journalists shortly after the assassination. His life had been in great danger in case he had shared his story only with a few spectators! In the above photo he is seen gesticulating animatedly in front of the schoolbook depository and the Dal Tex-building to the right.

Photographers from the local press showed up relatively quickly to take pictures of the shot mark in Main Street, and the story got so much publicity that it could not be silenced in the official explanations, in spite of the fact that it completely pulled the rug from under the first official versions.

The Warren Commission was also forced to include the missed shot in their report, and a section of the curb stone was cut out and produced as evidence in the case!

So far I have accounted for three shots at Kennedy. The first shot was fired from “the sniper’s nest” (TSBDE), the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository, and it is not unlikely that it was fired by Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson’s friend and “hit man”, Malcolm Wallace, as his fingerprints were found on some of the cardboard boxes piled up in order to hide behind. According to William Orchard it was important to place a shooter at this spot for being able to document later on that shots had been fired from there when the scapegoat was to be singled out - Lee Harvey Oswald who had worked at the schoolbook depository for a little more than four weeks prior to the assassination. Incidentally, Orchard is quite certain that the rifle used for shooting from this position had a defect aim, since the shooter was not even close to hitting the target, President Kennedy. And the first shot hit the edge of Elm Street far away from Kennedy.

The second shot came from the fence behind the grassy knoll (GKF), as I have explained above. Orchard believes it happened in Zapruder frame z188, while a few people put it as early as in z175 (Thomas); it is possible that z188 is correct, even if I personally have doubted it very much. I also see a movement by Kennedy which may seem unnatural at a point in time a few frames after z188, but what has been appearing confusing in my mind is that it seems as if Kennedy has lowered his arm again as he is becoming visible from the false Zapruder-sign in z225, while he has evidently been hit in the following frame, and you see the hand on its way to the throat. This movement of the hand towards the throat probably started while he was still hidden behind the false sign, perhaps as early as z194. I guess we must face up to the fact that nothing in the Zapruder-film is necessarily what it seems to be! Also, we see in z226/z227 that Kennedy’s head has a forward movement, possibly as a reaction to being thrown backwards by the shot, and the springing in the car seat trips a push forward! Whatever the case may be, I have finally reached the conclusion that I support William Orchard’s scenario also in this respect, and I assume that the main intention of the forgery of the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign was to make it look as if Kennedy and Connally were hit at the very same time, in z224, by the same bullet! And it does appear that they have succeeded quite well it would seem since several Kennedy-investigators place this shot in z224!

The third shot was fired from the Dal Tex building (DTB) and also missed badly. It hit a curb stone on the opposite side of Main Street, a meter or so in front of “the triple underpass”, and the stone chip spray damaged a spectator, James Tague, in the face.

William Orchard places also the fourth shot at “the grassy knoll” (GNF), approximately 1,6 seconds after this shooter’s first shot, in z200,and relates that he is basing this shot more on probability than on actual evidence. Some witnesses reported about a hit on the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign, and Orchards believes he can identify a possible visible hit on the sign. Considering that I believe this sign to be a forgery I have of course some doubts about the evidential value of a possible visible damage to the sign, but it is obviously feasible that the forgers have used the original film images of the sign in the forgery process – by cutting it out, enlarging it and then gluing it back again. Apart from this, Orchard believes that this shot possibly went off earlier than the shooter wanted it to do and therefore did not have a proper aim. I find it, similarly to Orchard, highly probable that more than one shot was fired from “the grassy knoll” since so many spectators reported about several shots from there. Even if I have been in doubt about the timing of the third shot – for reasons stated above – I have ended up supporting Orchard’s scenario and his placing of the shots #2 to z188 and shot #4 to z200.

We have then reached the fifth shot, which Orchard believes is the first shot fired from a second shooter in the schoolbook depository – namely on the sixth story in the west side of the building (TSBDW). And this shooter hit – but not his target. Instead he hit the passenger in the seat in front of Kennedy, the Texas Governor John Connally in his right armpit, right wrist and left thigh. In terms of timing, Orchard puts the shot at z224. As already said, Governor John Connally was one of the persons present at the meeting mentioned a few years ago by Lyndon B. Johnson’s mistress, at which the theme probably was “the big event” – the assassination of the American president.

Two photographers were quick on the “trigger” and took pictures of the Texas School Book Depository just seconds after the reverberation from the shots in Elm Street had faded. The picture to the left was taken by Tom Dillard and shows “the sniper’s nest”, where some cardboard boxes have been piled up. As you can see there were witnesses in the floor below, but unfortunately they could not contribute with information about a possible perpetrator. Shot #1 came from here. To the right is James Powell’s picture, also showing the position on the west side of the building, where a sniper was probably also placed. As you can see two windows are open here. In William Orchard’s scenario shot #5 was fired from here, hitting the Texas Governor John Connally in the armpit.

Above I have put together a small strip of pictures of the Texas Governor John Connally’s face in the morning of November 22, 1963. Take a good look at this man’s face! This is the face of a man who knows that the President of the USA is about to be murdered and who knows that he himself is sitting, or is going to sit, in the centre of the line of fire! Is there any doubt that we are dealing here with a very much concerned and nervous man? In the first two photos Connally is listening to Kennedy giving his very last speech before they are to leave Fort Worth. It looks as if he is trying to force a smile in the first picture, but he ends up with a stony grimace. At his side is an overjoyed vice-president Lyndon B. Johnson with a beatific smile on his face, very much aware that within a short time he will be the 36th President of the United States of America. In the third photo Connally is exiting the presidential aircraft at Love Field, Dallas, and by now he has fully realized the seriousness of the situation – he is very soon to be in the line of fire of the five snipers. Connally’s wife as well as the presidential couple are obviously enthusiastic, waving happily to the crowd, only Connally is rigid in his face. Nervously he is fidgeting with the tie threatening to suffocate him...”Why the hell did I agree to sit in this damned car...?”

And here perhaps Connally’s misgivings have come to pass – he himself has been hit by a shot from one of the snipers. The shot was fired from the Texas School Book Depository, however not by Lee Harvey Oswald and not from the east side of the building but from the west side at the same story as shooter number one. The shot hits Connally in the right armpit, penetrates the body and hits his right wrist and left thigh. For the remainder of his life Connally had a splinter of the bullet in his body, it was never removed by surgery. The official story, quickly attempted to be established, was that a lone shooter had fired three shots; two of them had hit Kennedy and one had hit Connally. But then it became known that one of the spectators had been injured by a shot hitting the sloping ground in Main Street, and the FBI/CIA/Sheriff’s Office in Dallas were forced to change the official explanation and introduce “the magic bullet” hitting Kennedy as well as Connally! The inanity of it is astounding! The story was so obviously fabricated that it is a miracle anyone swallowed it. And, to boot, this magic bullet could be produced. It had passed through two people, hit a leg and changed direction several times, and yet the bullet was almost undamaged!

This drawing shows the trajectory that the Warren Commission alleged “the single bullet” had followed. The theory was invented by the member of the Commission, Arlen Specter (born 1930). He claimed that the bullet initially hit Kennedy in the back, changed direction and went through Kennedy’s throat, changed direction once more and hit Connally in the armpit, wrist and thigh, finally exiting as good as undamaged – in spite of the fact that Connally spent his entire life with a large part of the bullet in the leg. In reality Kennedy was shot from in front, from the grassy knoll, and Connally was shot some tenth of a second later, from the sixth story of the west side of the Texas School Book Depository. Connally’s bullet wounds are simply not compatible with a shot from “the sniper’s nest”, and it is impossible that he was shot from this position, and Kennedy can also not have been shot from there!

In other words, Governor John Connally was probably fully aware what was in store for the president on November 22, 1963 and also knew the risk he himself and his wife were exposed to by sitting in the president’s car. Lyndon B.Johnson’s mistress, Madeleine Brown, is the source of the information that Connally was present at the meeting in the home of oil mogul Clint Murchison Sr. in the evening of the 21st November 1963, when everyone were informed that the motorcade through Dallas the following day had been chosen as the scene of “the big event”, under preparation for almost two years. It is hard to say whether Connally accepted voluntarily to sit in the line of fire, whether he was pressured or promised some kind of reward, but his facial expression during that morning shows very clearly that this is a very downhearted and nervous man! Admittedly, it is possible to find also some photos where he is smiling, but that doesn’t change the general impression of a man under great inner torment, either as a result of qualms of conscience or because he feared for his life. Some will perhaps say that it was an expression of the irony of fate that he himself was injured to the point of being life-threatening in the shooting drama. The shot hitting Connally was in reality shot number #5, and the second shot hitting one of the persons in the car. Kennedy was later hit once again, and an assistant at street level must have signaled to the shooter at the sixth story of the schoolbook depository that he was to leave three empty cases because they had three hits, and this was then also the first official version that was attempted to be established. But after it became known that there was also a missing shot they had to find a new solution, and Arlen Specter came up with the idea about the one bullet having injured both Kennedy and Connally. The problems about this theory seem so obvious that it is something of a miracle anyone could find it plausible. In the first place Kennedy could not possibly have been shot in the back; in the second place Connally’s gunshot wounds were not at all compatible with a shot from the position indicated as that of the lone shooter. There has also been some disagreement of opinion as to when Connally was hit, and as I mentioned in the beginning, Connally’s hat has played a not unimportant role in this discussion. After he has been shot, the Zapruder-film shows some very peculiar movements, and we can see something which by Kennedy-investigators is known as “John Connally’s hat trick”. In Zapruder frame z225 Connally’s hat is not visible at all, while in the following frame, z226, all of a sudden it turns up from “out of nowhere” in a manner which is absolutely impossible if the film frames were genuine. Connally then “fidgets” around with the hat before leaning backwards and then turns the body to the right and backwards towards Kennedy. The whole thing looks very strange! And this is not the only oddity about the persons in the presidential vehicle as it is driving the last few meters towards the point where the fatal head shot hits Kennedy!

This is one of many peculiarities showing that the Zapruder-film has been doctored. In the left hand picture, a slice from z225, both Kennedy and Connally have been hit. On this item the film has been forged in order to make it look as if they are being hit simultaneously and by the same bullet. However the forgers have not managed to make all movements look equally natural, and one of the details they seem to have overlooked is the way John Connally’s hat all of a sudden pops up in the next image, section of z226. The white section seen on the left side of Connally’s chest is his hat, making some peculiar movements in the next frames. For the hat to have been able to turn up as it does in this image, Connally must have moved it with almost lightening speed! Later Connally leans backward, turns to the left and looks behind him before he turns again, facing forward, and is being pulled down into the car by his wife. Afterwards his head comes up again as the speed is increasing after the head shot.

This picture was taken at about the same time as the Zapruder frames above by Charles Bronson who was standing on a pedestal on the north-westerly side of Main and Houston Street. He also filmed from this position. From here we can see more clearly that there were not that many spectators along the route at this part towards the end, just before the car would have disappeared under the railway underpass. The “Stemmons Freeway”-sign is seen as a red line reaching the wall behind Elm Street, and we can also see Zapruder and his assistant standing on a pedestal and filming in the left hand side of the picture. In this picture it may seem as if the presidential vehicle was hidden behind the sign, but at this point in time it was in reality visible adjacent to the sign. And when the car came close enough for the sign to block Zapruder’s view, then the president would still be visible at the lower edge of the sign. If you compare this picture with the picture further above, taken by Wilma Bond a few seconds after the shots, you will be able to clearly recognize several of the persons included in the above picture. A little bit to the left of where Zapruder is filming is the grassy knoll, where a shooter was positioned behind the wooden fence separating the knoll from the parking lot behind.

So far 5 shots have been fired at Kennedy; one from the schoolbook depository east, two from “the grassy knoll”, one from the Dal Tex Building, one from the schoolbook depository west, and the sixth shot (#6) is fired, this time a second shot from the 2nd story of the Dal Tex building right behind Kennedy. And the shot hits – not one of the persons in the photo, but the frame around the windshield of the open presidential limousine. The bullet subsequently fragments and part of it hits the windshield to the left of the chauffeur, Bill Greer, ricochets backwards at an angle, hits the car mirror from in front and causes a distinct dent. The first time the damage in the windshield is visible is in Zapruder frame z268. The shooter in the Dal Tex Building used a silencer, therefore the shot was not heard by any of the spectators, but there is no mistaking the damages on the car. Afterwards part of a bullet was found in the front seat and another part on the floor in front of the front seat. The shot must have come from behind and the likely position is the 2nd story of the Dal Tex Building.

In this blow-up of Zapruder frame z268 one can actually see the damage to the windshield if you have very good eyesight. Also visible is the small tear in the backseat behind Kennedy where the throat shot exited his body and caused a dent in the seat (see the two arrows). Moreover, pay attention to the passenger in the front seat, Secret Service agent Kellerman, looking backwards in the car. Admittedly, the shooting happened in a short period of time, but it is quite extraordinary to register how incredibly clumsily the Secret Service agents are comporting themselves. So many of them have been staring right at the President for such a long time in the scenario, that I think that under normal circumstances one would expect at least one of them to have reacted by attempting to protect him. Compare this with the security agent of the vice-president who reacted by opening the door of the car in which he was sitting in order to reach the vice-president as quickly as possible to protect him, already a few tenth of a second after the first shots. However, those who could have protected the President did absolutely nothing! I don’t find it strange that they are being suspected of having been in collusion with the conspirators!

In the left hand picture of the presidential vehicle William Orchard has drawn lines showing the trajectory of the ricochet after the sixth shot having hit the frame around the windshield, and how the bullet fragment glanced off and hit the mirror slantwise from in front. In the close-up picture below right you clearly see that the mirror has been hit by a bullet. The shot can only have been fired from a relatively low position obliquely behind the motorcade, to be more specific from the Dal Tex Building. To the left are fragments found in the front seat and on the floor in front of the front seat of the presidential vehicle. The Warren Commission alleges, of course, that these must be bullet fragments from the bullet that hit Kennedy in the head from behind, in accordance with their claims. It is quite interesting to compare the two fragments, supposed to be from the head shot, with the almost undamaged bullet I have shown above, and which is alleged to have passed through both Kennedy and Connally, hit bones and bodily tissue, causing it to change direction twice! Just like so much else fabricated by the Warren Commission this appears equally unlikely. It is perhaps not very strange that Secret Service agents were very quick to mount the glass bubble on top of the presidential car after the assassination – however, that the car was washed (!!!) while it was parked at the Parkland Hospital. That appears incredibly suspicious! Everything coincides in a pattern where it was urgent and important to hide as many clues as possible after the gruesome murder!

The story about how “the magic bullet” “coincidentally” popped up as a piece of evidence is in itself so sensational and unconvincing that it deserves a section for itself, and we may regard it as a good illustration of the ultra-thin foundation of evidence. Gary Aguilar and Josiah Thompson have on http://www.historymatters.com/essays/frameup/EvenMoreMagical/EvenMoreMagical.htm presented important information about how this bullet turned up under highly dubious circumstances, including that the connection to the Kennedy assassination is almost non-existent. For the bullet was not found in the car on any of the victims or in any other way that might link it directly to the scene of crime, rather it was found by a paramedic tidying up among used bed sheets at Parkland Hospital! When he was shaking a bed sheet he is supposed to have heard the sound of metal hitting the wall, and a bullet fell to the floor. Whether this was the bed sheet used by one of the wounded persons nobody could say for sure but the find was reported further up in the system, and the bullet was handed over from individual to individual through many units, finally ending up via an FBI-agent in the FBI laboratory and identified as the bullet which had hit Kennedy in the back. This was the bullet later on nicknamed as “the magic bullet” since it hit not only Kennedy, it changed direction and exited his throat, changed direction once again and hit Governor Connally in the arm pit, right wrist and left thigh, exited his body and ended up somewhere in his clothes. From Connally’s clothes the bullet has then rolled and ended up in the bed sheet at Parkland without anyone detecting it until the laundry was being taken care of. In their usual dubious manner the FBI managed to connect the bullet to the Kennedy assassination by using both paramedics and agents as witnesses, in spite of the fact that several of them subsequently denied that the bullet presented by the Warren Commission as a piece of evidence was not the one they had held in their hand at Parkland Hospital. As late as 2002 one of the agents even denied ever having seen the bullet, in spite of the Warren report indicating him as the recipient! The whole story is vitiated by so many uncertain factors, guesses and plain errors – like so many other things emanating from the Warren Commission – that it is quite unbelievable anyone could swallow such a camel without reacting. On the other hand, the suspicions that this piece of evidence had been fabricated had necessarily to pop up in the minds of a few people, since there were of course independently reflecting individuals also in 1963, even if it in the case of the Kennedy assassination it may seem as if there was a willingness to accept the most implausible “coincidences” and obvious forgeries as evidence about the truth. But in the case of “the magic bullet” they were in fact able to link the bullet, found fortuitously between Connally’s  bed sheets at Parkland Hospital, ostensibly by means of such rock solid witness statements that the piece of evidence apparently appeared to be cast-iron. However that was before anybody took the trouble to approach the witnesses directly. And already in 1967 it became clear that at least one of the witnesses sharply repudiated that the Warren Commission exhibit CE 399 was the bullet found on the same day that Connally and Kennedy were being treated at Parkland. Later on, several of those indicated as witnesses in the Warren Commission report have strongly dissociated themselves from the role they have been attributed in the report, including the FBI-agent alleged to have received the bullet! He claims never to have had anything to do with such a bullet! That the involved persons at Parkland were not able to recognize the bullet was also a well-known fact for the FBI, and it is well-documented in reports hidden since long time back, but they chose to overlook it and keep such reports hidden, and the lie that the bullet looked as it did in the Warren report picture, certified by solid depositions, was the only thing the public got to know at the time. But fortunately even the most infamous forgeries will one day be uncovered.

When we also add the fact that this, the practically undamaged bullet, is supposed to have penetrated two persons, hit bone and muscles and caused serious injuries on both individuals and in the end still had enough power to exit Connally’s body, but not enough power to penetrate his clothes, then certainly we end up with perhaps the most sensational story of a rifle bullet the world has ever seen! And, on top of it all, Connally had a large splinter lodged in his leg and which remained in his body for the rest of his life! “The magic bullet” not only went as good as undamaged through Kennedy and Connally! It also left splinters on its way, pushing us to the conclusion that it grew in terms of volume along its journey through two human bodies!

The personnel manager of Parkland Hospital, O.P. Wright, claimed that the bullet he had been holding in his hand in the afternoon of 22 November 1963 had a pointed top as in the left hand picture, and that it did not look like the bullet presented as CE 399 in the right hand picture. The commission was fully aware of this, but even so he was quoted as a witness. The FBI agent Bardwell Odum, presented by the commission as the recipient of the bullet, denied as late as in 2002 having had anything to do with such a bullet.

It is not always easy to find one’s bearings in the jungle of information in the milieu around the Kennedy assassination. And what makes it absolutely most problematic is that actually one cannot trust anything to be found in the various sources. This is particularly true about all kind of information which the FBI/CIA and the Dallas Police is behind, but also among private investigators of varying degree of professionalism have been produced both half-truths and speculations which on closer testing have proven not to hold water. In most cases we are of course accustomed to being able to trust at least official information from the police, but in this particular case we have the opposite situation – all official information flowing to the media had only one purpose, namely to establish the theory about the lone and mentally unstable shooter as quickly as possible. Perhaps we find the most reliable information in the very first witness accounts and media reports right after the assassination, when the public and journalists were still harboring the rather naive idea that the important thing was to produce as many witness observations as possible in order to help the police in their investigations. However, the authorities were not at all interested in all these witness accounts – very soon it turned out that people were requested, for the sake of their own security, to keep things to themselves or, even better, try to forget what they had seen.  In the criminal network of brutal and unscrupulous Mafioso’s and deeply corrupt police officers and agents there was no room for the honest average citizen with confidence in persons of authority; innumerable photos and amateur films handed in with naive faith in the police during the days and weeks after the assassination were manipulated and doctored or plainly destroyed on account of showing revealing details. I have mentioned earlier that a Polaroid photo taken by Mary Moorman facing the Texas Schoolbook Depository went missing, and the same thing happened with a picture taken by Robert Croft of Kennedy in the very moment when he was shot in the head. Croft took the well-known color photo of Kennedy’s car right after the first shot – the shot that many people misinterpreted as a fireworks crack, but he also took one more picture, and he himself has told that it was the head shot which provoked the finger movement that pressed down the camera shutter. As an honest citizen he submitted the entire film to the police when he heard about the summons, and when he got the film back the picture of the president when he was shot in the head was blank – “photo-technical problems” had caused that no exposure had taken place. It could, of course, be true if it happened once, but when such things happen over and over again, in the end it forms a pattern of deliberate destruction of unwanted pieces of information.

Orville Nix, standing on the opposite side of Elm Street in relation to Zapruder, also shot an amateur film showing the headshot and similarly to Moorman and Croft he also surrendered his recording. He was convinced that the film had been altered during the time it was in the custody of the police and that it showed something else than he had been seeing as he was shooting the film. Nix was actually the victim of a particularly flagrant case of cross-cutting when he was interviewed on television about his perception concerning the origin of the shots that killed Kennedy. Nix was a principled and honest man who never made any bones about the fact that he believed the shots came from the grassy knoll, and that was also his reply. In that same interview he was asked what the Warren Commission believed concerning the original of the shots. Nix then replied, quite factually, that they believed the shot came from the schoolbook depository. When the interview was broadcast the producer had cross-cut the answers in such a way that it seemed as if Nix himself was of the opinion that the shots came from the schoolbook depository. There cannot be much doubt that as times went by a good number of journalists and TV-producers saw it as their foremost task to support the official version of the authorities.  When the honor of the nation is at stake an American will go to great length in the name of patriotism!

The rifle found in “the sniper’s nest” in the 6th story of the Texas Schoolbook Depository, an Italian Carcano-rifle of unusually bad quality. In addition, the aim was not carefully calibrated and few people would have been able to hit anything with this rifle.

This false ID-card found with Oswald was the “proof” linking him to the “murder weapon”. A Carcano-rifle had been bought via mail order in this name, Alek James Hidell. It would have been the easiest thing in the world for anyone to order the weapon in this name. The fact was that Oswald could have walked into any weapon’s store and bought exactly the weapon he wanted without having to give his identity!

More “pieces of evidence” linking Oswald to the revolver that killed the police officer Tippit and President Kennedy. The photos have obviously been doctored, and Oswald’s face has been pasted into another photo. The proportions are not correct, the shadows also do not tally, and it is quite obvious that the same photo of Oswald’s face has been utilized in both cases, just that in the right hand picture for some reason they have chosen to use only the upper part of his face. The mouth is totally different from his! And once again we have to wonder about the existence of so many overstated “decisive pieces of evidence”. Either Oswald did everything he could in order to produce, on his own, “pieces of evidence” that he was the killer or he was the victim of a plot. Or perchance, a third alternative might be that we are facing the dumbest ever murderer in world history?

The conspiracy has been accomplished and the fall guy, singled out from the outset, is being led out from the movie theatre where he was arrested remarkably soon after the assassination of the president. Note the smug smile of the cigar-smoking police officer on Oswald’s right. However, still something has gone wrong. Of course, it was never the intention that Oswald was to be arrested alive, allowing him to declare his innocence! In all probability Oswald was asked to meet his CIA-contact in the movie theatre, and the plan must certainly have been that he was to be shot and killed during or before the arrest.

Before discussing my assessment of the fatal headshot that killed President Kennedy I would to return briefly to my American friend, William Orchard, and his website. While I have been working with my article, he has also developed his theories further and has by now also presented a convincing analysis of how the killers may possibly have been reasoning prior to the assassination. The official story was to be that the shots had been fired by a lone shooter, and hence it goes without saying that he would not have time to fire a very large number of shots during the time period that the presidential car was in Elm Street. Whereas Orchard and many others with him previously have assumed that the “killer” who was supposed to leave a certain number of empty cases in “the sniper’s nest” had to have an assistant on the ground to signal the amount of hits, such that the corresponding number of cases could be left as pieces of evidence, Orchard’s most recent theory is that they had beforehand decided that only three audible shots were to be fired and that three empty cases, already fired with the “murder weapon” would be left behind, and that shots possibly to be fired in addition to the three audible shots would be muffled.

Lee Harvey Oswald had been built up as a patsy over a long period of time, and he himself was probably was under the assumption that he had been recruited by the CIA in order to work as an informer, and his membership of the Cuban exile organization FPCC (Fair Play for Cuba Committee) was probably not an expression of any genuine interest – it is more likely that he was a CIA infiltrator.  However, in reality his “career” has been developed with one single aim: that he could be used as a fall guy for some form of criminal activity.

CIA had prepared two candidates for being used as possible patsies in connection with the assassination of the President. The other one was a young man with very much in common with Oswald and who had also been sent on a “mission” to the Soviet Union prior to the assassination. His name was Gilberto Policarp Lopez, and he too was an infiltrator in FPCC. Both men, roughly the same age and of almost identical description, were in Mexico a couple of months before the murder in order to obtain visa for Cuba, and both of them were probably convinced that they would be brought out safely from Dallas and be sent to Cuba via Mexico. Both of them were well informed about the assassination plans and probably participated in meetings where the murder was being planned, and they were both present at Dealey Plaza on November 22, 1963. Ironically enough it is not unlikely that both of them were convinced, respectively, that the other one was to be used as a patsy, and that they would be the only one to leave the plot alive. Lopez had probably been selected as patsy for the assassination attempt planned in Tampa, Florida on November 18, barely a week before Dallas. However the plans leaked, and the security arrangements of the presidential entourage at the tour in Tampa were thorough to such an extent that the assassination attempt had to be abandoned. But it is known that that several sniper teams were present in the town in order to murder the President; likewise in Chicago on the 2nd of November an assassination attempt also failed because tips emerged about suspicious behavior and observations of weapons, and Kennedy’s visit to that town was cancelled. Incidentally, the assassination plans were mentioned in the Tampa Tribune the day after the murder of the President but have since then been hushed up, because it does not fit into the official “unraveling” of the assassination as the deed of a lone deranged man.

Oswald must have been quite surprised when it dawned on him during the arrest that he was the one selected to be the fall guy and not his colleague Gilberto Lopez, such as he had been told. And while Oswald was being arrested and realized that he was without a chance against the overwhelming amount of evidence which the conspirators was able to produce, Lopez was flown out of Dallas and via Mexico to Cuba.

The FBI evidently had information about who had been selected to play the role of den lone killer and had Oswald’s personal history and description prepared, and barely about half an hour after the assassination the search for Oswald was announced.  Afterwards, nobody was able to explain in a plausible way why precisely Oswald’s description was supposed to fit that of the killer, and subsequently it was alleged that he was wanted by the police because he did not return to his workplace. However, so didn’t 30-40 employees of the schoolbook depository, and hence this in itself was no ground for instituting a search. The explanation is obviously quite a different story, namely that Oswald from the very start had been selected as patsy! Oswald was probably assuming that he was an infiltrator and CIA-informer and was well aware that the assassination was going to take place. But why did he not venture out into Elm Street to see what was happening? The explanation is probably that he had been instructed to stay inside in the schoolbook depository building, ensuring that he would be observed by witnesses.

One of the store rooms with a view of Elm Street was chosen as “the sniper’s nest”, and the conspirators assumed that there would be few problems having Oswald linked to the scene of murder. In reality the 6th story of the schoolbook depository was in no way an ideal location if the aim was to hit the president while the car was on Elm Street, for the motorcade was hidden by a big tree for a large part of the stretch, and when the first shot hit Kennedy was in reality hidden for the shooter. It would have been a much better idea to shoot at the president when the car was right in front of the shooter in Houston Street. On this spot he would be able to shoot at the presidential vehicle as it was approaching right in front and nothing would have hindered the view of the shooter. The only reason that they did not wait to shoot until the car had turned into Elm Street was obviously that there were not only one shooter but a total of five shooters at different positions. And because the plan was to have only three audible shots, the other shots had to be muffled. Orchard assumes in his analysis that the shooters got only one single chance each and had strict orders to fire only one single shot. Also, they must have assumed that the shooters were skilled enough for at least one of them to be able to hit Kennedy’s head and kill him. The expectation must have been that one of the shooters positioned behind Kennedy would succeed, ensuring that the official version abut three shots from behind was not botched up.

But as we know all snipers shooting at the president from behind missed their target, and the only one to hit before the last and fatal head shot, shot from in front and from the side, from the fence behind the grassy knoll. However, his hit was not lethal, and Orchard supposes that three of these snipers disobeyed their orders when they fired once more after having failed the first time. The implication was that they would create big problems for the FBI and President Johnson, who was the main responsible for the cover-up story, but they must have disregarded that. The urge to become the man who killed the American president must simply have been too strong. And problems with the cover-up story they had already created by the choice of the rifle that was supposed to be the official murder weapon. Of all the kind of weapons the “killer” could have selected, the Italian made Mannlicher-Carcano rifle found at the schoolbook depository must have been the decidedly worst choice. It was made before the Second World War and of very poor quality compared with what was accessible on the market in 1963. It is very slow to operate, and it has subsequently turned out that it is simply not possible to fire three shots in the short time passing between the three “official” shots. But the killers’ intention was probably consciously to create problems for the FBI with the selection of this rifle, and Orchard sees the choice of weapon as an indication of their wish to show contempt for the FBI. In addition, it seems quite obvious that the Mannlicher-Carcano rifle was supposed to make it crystal clear to the entire world that the assassination of John F. Kennedy had been carried out by the Italian mafia! And like most mafia-killings the murder of President Kennedy also left a message – in this case a message to Kennedy’s brother Robert and to his father Joe Kennedy, who had “bought” many of the votes necessary  to have him instated, that no other Kennedy would be accepted by the mafia as American president. It is rather odd that John F.Kennedy’s brother, Robert Kennedy, was not able to take in this message! His campaign to run for president in 1968 was bound to end by him being murdered. Anyone able to interpret the “language” of the mafia could have predicted this sad fact. It is hard to understand and the Kennedy clan did not realize it! I perceive it as an expression of their much too exaggerated ambitions and inflated hubris. John F. Kennedy was referred to by a CIA-employee as an “adrenalin junkie” who could not live without taking enormous risks and the question is if it wasn’t this that proved fatal to him and his brother. The eldest brother, Joseph Jr., killed in an airplane crash before he had time to get involved in politics was the one originally intended by the father Joe for the role of president. And it was precisely his challenging the destiny which ended also the life of this brother, because he was killed after having volunteered for the assignment of an extremely risky test flight during the Second World War. Merely being an ordinary pilot was simply not enough for the over-ambitious Kennedy-brothers.

Some people also claim that the Kennedy-brothers had been pressured into far too responsible roles by their over-ambitious father and that they in reality were not mentally or morally suitable to fill the responsible positions in which they “suddenly” found themselves, more or less in accordance with their own wish. It takes a certain kind of backbone to be the president of the USA, perhaps the most powerful position in the world, and it is easy to consider Kennedy’s crippled back and his dependency on strong painkillers and narcotics acting on the central nervous system as evidence that he lacked this kind of backbone. It is also difficult to dispute that the brothers had inherited their father’s rather dubious qualities and his lack of personal morals, and this made them obviously very vulnerable to blackmailing both from the FBI-boss J. Edgar Hoover and from the mafia. The last few years it has become known that there were very secret plans for an invasion of Cuba under the codename AMWORLD, led by the brothers, and some people claim that the mighty mafia-bosses Carlos Marcello, Santo Trafficante and Johnny Rosselli were tipped off about the plan through their cooperation with the CIA and that they assumed that a possible assassination of the president would hardly be investigated fully out of fear that the American invasion plans were to be revealed and create problems in relation to the Soviet Union and Cuba.

The Kennedy-brothers probably fully realized that they were extremely powerful and deeply hated by powerful groupings, and everything indicates that Kennedy knew about the two averted assassination attempts just a few weeks before as he sat down in the open car that was to drive him around in Dallas. Could he possibly have been prompted by some kind of death wish in order to get away from the painful and insoluble situation into which he had ended up? And was it the same motive which impelled Bobby to run for the election of the presidential candidate of the Democrats in 1968? Some people argue that.

Lee Harvey Oswald had been built up as a patsy by the CIA for a long period of time, but he himself believed that he was an infiltrator and informant. Through his membership of the Cuban exile organization FPCC he got firsthand information about the assassination plans. Oswald was probably convinced that it was his colleague Gilberto Lopez who was to be the patsy and his surprise must have been great when he discovered that he himself was the fall guy.

Kennedy in the motorcade in Tampa, Florida, less than a week before he was assassinated. It is believed that he was informed that an assassination attempt on his life had been averted shortly before that, and considering that he was a man with a death-threat one must say that he is dramatically careless, well almost hubristically defiant! Some people claim that he harbored an unconscious death wish as being the only possible way out of an inextricable life situation.

Subsequently, the Italian Carcano-rifle could be linked to Lee Harvey Oswald because it and a revolver were bought via mail order by a certain Alek James Hidell, and a fake ID-card issued in this name with Oswald’s portrait was found with Oswald after he had been apprehended. This “piece of evidence” is in the same category as the three empty cases and the rifle that the “killer” had left at the murder scene; they are obvious and flagrant to the extent that it is too good to be true. It would have been the most simple thing in the world for anyone to purchase a rifle by mail order under the name of Hidell and to “plant” a fake ID-card on Oswald’ either without him knowing about it or under some kind of cover story about him having to be issued with several identities in order to function as a CIA-informer. If this is to have any value whatsoever as proof that Oswald really was the one who bought these weapon by mail order, then somebody must be able to testify that he was in fact the one collecting the weapons. Such witnesses do not exist, and the piece of evidence has evidently been fabricated in order to link Oswald to the murder. It was later alleged that the revolver was the weapon used to kill police officer Tippit, who supposedly is to have run into Oswald after the assassination. However, this is in spite of several witnesses being convinced that it was not Oswald they had seen shooting Tippit. According to these witnesses the killer also had no resemblance to Oswald. Several of them died under utterly dubious circumstances before they had been able to give proper evidence!

Much more likely than Oswald having done away with Tippit is that the police officer met one or more from the snipers’ team who killed the president, and that one of them shot and killed him. Another very plausible explanation is that Tippit in reality had been assigned to shoot and kill Oswald but pulled out in the last minute with the consequence that he himself was shot by his companion in the police car – possibly the same man that had the wallet with the fake ID-card issued in the name of Hidell planted on Oswald and in this way linked him to the Carcano-rifle. It is also more than odd that Oswald would choose to purchase the weapon by mail order where he had to give an identity, when he could walk into any American weapon shop and buy exactly the kind of weapons he might want without having to give his identity. Such obviously revealing acts were seldom just thoughtless blunders in the mafia world, where it was a very commonplace method to pin criminal acts on innocent persons, and a “patsy” was a very much well-known phenomenon in that world. The concept was also used by Oswald himself – who fully realized that he was the victim of a conspiracy. In summary, there are only two possible explanations to all of these over-obvious pieces of “evidence” implicating Oswald as the killer: Either he did everything in his power to be apprehended for the Kennedy assassination, or the whole thing was arranged in order pin the murder on him. In my view there isn’t a shadow of doubt about the actual and true facts!

Another quite obviously concocted piece of evidence are the two photos of Oswald, allegedly showing him outside the house where he was staying with his wife and daughter, posing with the Carcano-rifle and the revolver. Oswald’s wife, Russian citizen Maria Oswald, claimed that she took the photos, and she also declared publicly that she was convinced that it was her husband who killed the president. However, her credibility as a witness was very poor. She had obviously very much to gain from testifying in the way the plotters wanted, not the least since this could get her an American citizenship. Her mentally unstable state of mind also does not at all speak for her, and she had hardly the strength to resist the “persuasion” from the CIA- and mafia-plotters. It is astonishing what can be achieved when you get an “offer you cannot refuse”, as the famous film trilogy about the Italian mafia in the USA, Godfather 1-3 has it.

Most things indicate that Oswald went to the movie theater at which he was arrested in the belief that he was to meet his CIA-contact in order to report, but instead was surprised by police officers arresting him. According to the plan he was almost certainly supposed to be killed before or after the arrest, but something went wrong, and Jack Ruby, who was responsible “at street level” for the sniper team and for the weapons, was forced to tidy up the mess by singlehandedly killing Oswald while he was in police custody – something in itself so sensational that it ought to have been made the object of thorough examination! However, the remarkably simple way in which Jack Ruby achieved information, as well as access to a suitable venue for carrying out this murder, was surprisingly scantily addressed in the aftermath. And that anybody could give credence to a scenario where a mafia-linked nightclub operator and illegal arms dealer alleged to be personally affected by the assassination of the president to such an extent that he felt he himself had to have it out with the killer for the deed – well, it is unbelievable, to say the least. It is hard to find anything more unconvincing that this!

This section of the very last Zapruder-frame before the fatal headshot hits, z312, shows very clearly the situation in the presidential vehicle at this point in time. The chauffeur, Bill Greer, who later on claimed that he did not at any time look directly at the president but was merely sensing that something was wrong is completely unmasked by this photo! His head is turning almost completely around and unmistakably is following what is happening to the president. At this point Greer has drastically reduced his speed and the vehicle is almost at a standstill. Kennedy has obviously been hit and is leaning to the left towards his wife, Jackie. His head is turned left and downwards. A few hundreds of a second after this picture he is hit in his head by a bullet, causing blood, blood, bone fragments and brain mass to spray in all directions. An overwhelming number of witnesses, as well as the physicians of Parkland Hospital, reported that Kennedy had a large exit wound in the right hand side of the back of his head, and several of the person in the cars or on motorcycles behind the presidential vehicle testified that they were sprayed by blood  and particles from Kennedy’s head! Still, the subsequent Zapruder-frames do not show any backwards directed blood spray whatsoever, only in a forward direction and vertically, and it seems as if Kennedy’s occipital is completely unharmed. The most conspicuous in the Zapruder-frames, following the hit in the head, is the terrible blood spray forward and that a large part of the skull at the right hand side of Kennedy’s head is blown off, tilts down and stays hanging down, fastened only by skin and membranes. The official post-mortem photos, taken after the FBI took control of the autopsy, also show that Kennedy’s back head is completely uninjured. How is it possible that both the Zapruder-film and the post-mortem photos tell the opposite story of what the numerous witnesses and the physicians at Parkland reported? Could several dozens of persons witnessing the injuries at close range be so completely wrong? Of course not, and the reason that neither the Zapruder-film nor the post-mortem photos correspond to the many witness statements is that the photos as well as the film have been doctored! But where did the shots come from?

To summarize, the situation before the head shot, shot #7, is that two of the shooters have already violated their instruction to fire only one shot, and the third one is also about to fire a second shot, if we take as our point of departure Orchard’s latest analysis of the chain of events. The planned official version of three shots from behind was, in other words, botched and the most observant members of the public had already heard four shots (since the shooter in the Dal Tex Building was using a silencer), i.e. two from the Texas Schoolbook Depository and two from “the grassy knoll” – even if some of the shots came so close together that it must have been hard to tell them apart. But as yet, the president was still not mortally wounded. This must surely have been a surprise to the shooters, and in order to ensure that this was not to be the end result – that the president would escape the assassination alive, the leader of the operation, in other words probably Jack Ruby, positioned a fifth shooter who would be almost right in front of Kennedy’s car as it was coming down the sloping ground where Elm Street was soon turning right again, down towards “the triple underpass”. The shooter must have been at the south end of “the triple underpass”, hidden by a car or just by the concrete fence, and he must have used a silenced weapon, because an audible shot from this position would have nullified the entire hypothesis about the lonely sniper. However, the injuries from a fatal head shot from in front might also be thorny for the FBI to explain away, and this is why the shooter, according to William Orchard, had received strict orders not to shoot before it was absolutely necessary and just as a last resort! And he was only to go for a fatal head shot if the president was still alive when the vehicle was approaching his position. And as we know none of the other shooters hit with fatal shots. The shooter positioned at the southern end of the railway bridge fired only one single silenced shot, hitting Kennedy on the right side of the head, above the president’s right eye. The bullet was of a type which exploded on impact, a so called expanding bullet, and the president’s head virtually exploded; there was a clearly visible fist-sized exit wound in the right side of the president’s occipital, while at the same time large portions of the right hand side of his skull was open as a crater. The nearest witnesses have told that they heard a repulsive sound reminding mostly of a pumpkin being smashed against a concrete wall as the shot fell. It must have been a gruesome experience to witness this brutal and mean murder!

For a long time many people probably believed that the head shot came from the fence behind the grassy knoll, but a head shot from there would have caused a completely different injury on Kennedy’s head, and we would have seen a large exit wound in the left side of the president’s occipital, and no witnesses have reported anything about this! Many people have also speculated whether the massive head damage could have been caused by Kennedy having been hit by two shots practically simultaneously, one from behind and one from the right hand side from in front. But once again we have to argue that no one, nor physicians nor witnesses, have reported about exit wounds which come even close to supporting such a hypothesis. The same thing goes for a shot, suggested recently by some people, coming from a gutter in the sidewalk in the same side of Elm Street as the one Zapruder was filming from and which was linked to the sewerage system. No, there is only one position compatible with the reported injuries in the president’s head, and that is a shot from the south end of “the triple underpass”! And the silencer – in combination with the fact that there were very few witnesses nearby, must be the reason why there is not a single witness observation from here.

I have previously shown a small slice of this photo taken by Cancellare a couple of seconds before the presidential vehicle had disappeared under the railway bridge, and in that connection it was in order to show where James Tague was standing when he was hit by concrete particles from a shot hitting the slope in front of him. Tague can be seen to the right in the picture, next to the concrete pillar supporting the bridge. Notice also that the witnesses closest to the assassination spot are still lying on the ground more or less in the centre of the picture. To the extreme left is also the much referred “Stemmons Freeway”-sign. Opposite we see the railway bridge and “the south knoll”. Judging from the position of Kennedy’s head, which was turned to the left, and the point of impact and the exit wound in the skull, he must have been shot from the southern end of the railway crossing, i.e. from a position approximately in the centre of the picture. As you can see, there were no witnesses at this location and hence good chances for a shooter to hide. There is, among other things, a white car precisely at the end between the two trees. It is quite possible that this is the escape vehicle of the sniper who killed Kennedy!

The terrible moment when Kennedy is hit in the head is shown in Zapruder z313. As you can see, the blood fountain sprays most forward, and this would indicate that Kennedy was hit from behind, and that it is the exit wound which causes the spraying of blood. However, scores of witnesses reported that blood and brain mass was ejected from a fist-sized exit wound in the right hand side of the president’s occipital. Several of the persons on motorcycles and in escort vehicles behind the president related that they were sprayed all over with blood, and the physicians providing the first life-saving treatment at Parkland Hospital also reported about a large exit wound in the president’s occipital! There can be little doubt that the Zapruder-film has been touched-up and doctored, and the backwards blood spray was quite simply removed and the back head of the president was “repaired”. However, the forgers did a very bad job, and it is not hard to prove that the film must have been changed in order to support the official story about three shots from behind from a lone killer. I have previously shown that the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign has been moved from its original position in order to make it look as if Kennedy and Connally were hit by the same shot, and I am also going to prove that they have tried to make it look as if the head shot was fired from behind. The forgers have left many clues proving that the film has been doctored!

Let me add that there was also a shot #8, very soon after Kennedy having been mortally wounded. The shot was fired from “the sniper’s nest” and confirms that this shooter hardly was able to hit the president. For the shot was, similar to the first one he fired, not anywhere near hitting its target, rather it hit the slope on the opposite side of Elm Street and made a groove in the grass, observed by several witnesses. Photos were taken as the slope here was examined by witnesses, and there was also an observation that something was picked up from the ground and handed over to a police officer, but this was later on denied.

According to William Orchard’s scenario a total of eight shots were fired at President John F. Kennedy when on an official visit to Dallas on November 22, 1963, driving through town in an open vehicle. Some of the shots were silenced for the sake of not exceeding the agreed number of three audible shots, but three of the snipers succumbed to the temptation and fired a second shot because they missed the first time, in other words they violated the order and created problems for those who had the task of making the cover-up story plausible. And, in summary, the shooters made such a lousy job that an emergency solution – only to come into force in the case that everyone had shot and the president was still alive – had to be resorted to: A shot almost from in front which might contribute to completely undermining the cover-up story. Considering the almost impossible point of departure, it is quite unbelievable that the FBI in cooperation with President Lyndon B. Johnson managed to “sell” the cover-up story as well as they did, in spite of everything. Even if the majority of the American people never did resign themselves with this brazen and appalling lie, soon the public objections against Kennedy having been assassinated by a lone killer fell silent, - in spite of a large number of witnesses having reported of shots both from behind and from in front; in spite of the medical doctors who treated Kennedy initially reported about a fist-sized exit-wound in Kennedy’s occipital; in spite of the fact that the rifle that apparently was the murder weapon was not fit to hit anything whatsoever and could not at all be fired three times in the course of the short time the assassination lasted; and in spite of the fact that the alleged killer was murdered shortly afterwards by a criminal nightclub operator, mafia member and weapon smuggler. It begs the question: How easily fooled were the people who bought the unbelievably transparent “unraveling” of the murder? It is perhaps easy to say with hindsight, but the issue is if perhaps people have a tendency to believe precisely what they themselves wish to believe; and if the official explanation was not correct then the implication would be that many of those who were supposed to lead and protect the American people were nothing but a coven of corrupt and brutal criminals. And that was perhaps even harder for many people to believe.

Witnesses in the afternoon of November 22 searching in the grass for a bullet that many people believed hit the slope behind Elm Street. A police officer was also observed as he was receiving something found in the grass, but this was later denied. In William Orchard’s analysis it was shot #8, fired from “the sniper’s nest” on the 6th story of the Texas Schoolbook Depository which hit the hill on the opposite side of Elm Street. That was the second shot this sniper fired, and also the first shot missed Kennedy badly. According to Orchard, possibly the shooters had instructions to fire only one shot each, since the official cover story were to be that a lone shooter had fired three shots from behind. However many shots missed – altogether five – and several of the shooters ignored the order and shot once more! But no one had time to fire more than two shots!

For many years Kennedy-investigators thought that Kennedy must have been hit in the head by a bullet from “the grassy knoll”, since we can see clearly on the Zapruder-film that he is thrown backwards and then falls to the left after having been hit. When you watch Kennedy’s leg position in the car and take into consideration that he had been leaning left towards his wife after the first shot, it becomes obvious that he could not fall any other way than to the left when he lost consciousness after the head shot. His balance had already shifted to the left, and gravity pulled him down.

Irrespective of how much the forgers of the Zapruder-film did in order to camouflage the fact that Kennedy was shot in the head from in front, apparently in the end they had to realize that they were not able to remove the obvious backwards head movement, as Kennedy is hit by the head shot. To this extent we cannot draw any other conclusion than that their efforts to make the film harmonize with the official cover story was a failure! They have probably managed to make it look as if Kennedy and Connally are hit simultaneously by “the magic bullet”, but irrespective of how much they have managed to retouch away the blood spray backwards and repair the president’s head such that the actual injuries do not show, anyone watching the film can see that Kennedy must have been shot from in front! The head of a person being shot from the back is obviously not thrown backwards but forwards. And that definitely does not happen with Kennedy’s head! I am saying this in spite of the fact that someone has managed to find a microscopic movement of the head forward just after the shot, but this movement, which cannot at all be seen when the film is rolling at ordinary speed, may easily well be the result of the forgers’ attempts to camouflage the movement. Or it may be the result of the chauffeur at this point in time applying the brakes such that it came to an almost full stop! Many witnesses reported about this, and in several images we see that the stoplights of the car are lit, in addition to the two streamers in front of the car hanging down limply! Eventually even the commission set up in order to assess the assassination once again in 1979 had to admit that there was a corruption of the truth but, unbelievable as it may seem, this did not lead to the case being completely reopened. It appears that the USA were not yet ready to face the fact that the Kennedy assassination in reality was a coup d’état with accomplices from the entire machinery of power of the USA, including some presidents to be!

However, as regards the forgers of the Zapruder-film, they must in the end simply have given up and realized that they could not succeed in making the head shot appear as a shot from in front. The film was locked away, and this – the most important piece of evidence in the case of the assassination of the American president – was kept away from the American people for more than ten years! Quite unbelievable! We can thank the main character of the famous Oliver Stone-movie about the Kennedy assassination, Jim Garrison, for the fact that the Zapruder-film was finally made available to the public after he took the release request all the way to the American Supreme Court, but “LIFE” fought tooth and nail in order to prevent that the film be released. I cannot help but reflect over the actions of the man who took the perhaps most famous amateur film in the world. Abraham Zapruder, of Russian ancestry, must of course have been fully aware that the film shown on American television was not the same as the recording he himself made on the tragic day of the murder. Perhaps we should not judge Zapruder too hard, because we don’t know what kind of pressure he was exposed to, but the fact is that he, with his deeds, made himself a party to covering up a very serious criminal act.

Over the years the Zapruder-film has been made the subject of meticulous analyses, and the sequence from where the presidential vehicle emerges from the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign and until it disappears under the railway bridge is perhaps the part that contains the most obvious pieces of evidence that the film is not genuine. First of all we have the circumstance that the presidential vehicle in reality slowed down until coming almost to a stop. This does not at all appear in the doctored version, and the implication is that quite a large number of frames have been removed. Removing a number of frames gave the forgers a huge advantage and provided them quite some latitude in terms of simply cutting out the frames that would be most difficult to retouch. They have evidently used this opportunity fully, and the consequence is that some of the movements of the persons in the vehicle have become unnatural, to the extent that they simply cannot be made by a human being. And in a few places the car makes a big jump ahead as a consequence of too many frames in between having been cut out. The blood spray generated as Kennedy is hit also disappears remarkably quickly, and actually the blood is visible merely during three frames. This means that the blood and particles from JFK’s skull ejected into the air disappeared in the course of 15 hundredths of a second. This is of course impossible! In addition, we can clearly establish that they have attempted to camouflage Kennedy’s head injury, and it seems to have succeeded in a few of the frames, while in others we can clearly see that his head is completely deformed after the “explosion”.

This segment of Bronson’s photo of the presidential vehicle on its way along Elm Street has made me wonder if not some of the persons standing at the edge of the sidewalk below the lamppost ought to show on the Zapruder-film! The presidential vehicle is in fact visible on the extreme right, and I have drawn up some auxiliary lines from Zapruder’s camera down to the feet of some of the spectators on the opposite side of the street, because their feet are visible on the Zapruder-film, and obviously then everything entering this range of vision ought also to show on the film. The small family we see, made up of a mother and father each playing with a child, are Bill and Gail Newman with their two sons. Next to them, close by the lamppost, we see Sheryl McCinnon and Jean Newman (not related to Bill and Gail). On the other side of the road, right in front of the Newman family, are Mary Moorman (who took a very famous Polaroid photo of the president just before the head shot) and Jean Hill (in red). On their right is Charles Brehm and his little son, and on their right an unidentified woman, known as the Babushka lady. Incidentally, she was filming all the time as the car was passing by and ought to be a highly interesting witness, however she has never been identified, I believe. As the presidential vehicle is passing by these persons, Zapruder holds his camera relatively high up, so that one cannot see the lower part of the car, while a large section of the grass plain on the other side of the road is visible. But even if the lower part of the car cannot be seen, ought not the head and the upper body of the woman leaning on the lamppost, Jean Newman, still to be visible in front of the presidential vehicle? For we do wee the feet of Brehm and the Babushka lady! And does it not seem as if the lamppost ought to enter Zapruder’s range of vision approximately at the same time as Brehm and the Babushka lady?

To the left we see yet one more piece of evidence that the heads of the Newman couple ought to have been visible on the Zapruder film. The image is frame no. 9 of the Nix film. Orvil Nix was standing on the opposite side of Elm Street, filming parts of the same scenario as Zapruder. If you draw a line from Zapruder’s camera, level with the shoulders of the couple, down towards the roadside on the opposite side, you will see quite clearly that their heads are surely within Zapruder’s range of vision. Also, in the right-hand picture - still no. 44 from the Muchmoore film – note the degree to which the Newman couple are visible above the limousine. Gail Newman is visible almost at full length above the presidential vehicle. Only her feet are hidden. It is evident that the sidewalk on which they are standing is at a much higher level than the road, and also much higher than the grass area on this side of Elm Street. The Babushka Lady and Charles Brehm with his son are closer to the camera, and if they had been at the same level as the Newman couple, they would have towered over the couple in the picture. But they don’t! On the contrary!

Two more still pictures which reinforce the assumption that the Newman couple ought to have been visible in the Zapruder film, left from the ultra-short Bronson sequence and on the right hand from the Nix film. The two stills show approximately the same scene and confirm the impression that the Newman couple were at such higher level than the presidential vehicle as well as the roadside on the opposite side, that they should have been visible to Zapruder. According to my calculations the Newman couple should have been visible during the entire sequence of the Zapruder film showing the two friends Jean Hillog and Mary Moorman. Bill’s head should have appeared a little to the left of Mary Moorman, and Gail should have been visible a little to the left of Jean Hill. But they don’t! The only possible explanation is that they have been removed by retouch. And why? My assumption is that it pure and simply turned out to be too complicated to deal with too many persons, when the head shot issue was edited! The perpetrators had to doctor away the fact that Kennedy was shot from in front and simultaneously they had to make sure that all persons in front, behind and inside the vehicle were moving in a way that appeared natural, and for the sake of simplicity they quite simply removed the persons visible in front of the car.

But if it is uncertain whether the people standing on the sidewalk should have been visible on the Zapruder film, couldn’t we simply re-create the scene at Dealey Plaza, place the persons at their actual locations, photo them from the Zapruder pedestal and once and for all settle the issue? Unfortunately it is not that simple. In the years after 1963 many people have filmed and taken still pictures from the Zapruder observation point, but the problem is that much has been changed since the assassination took place. The most obvious changes can be seen by comparing the two pictures above.  Apart from the “Stemmon’s Freeway”-sign having been removed, the lamp posts, previously at the outer edge of the sidewalk, have been moved to the inside part of the sidewalk, and also lamp posts have been put up along the opposite side of Elm Street. The most crucial change in order not to risk that the doctoring of the Zapruder film were to be exposed was, of course, the removal of the road sign, something which was done fairly quickly after the assassination. However, LIFE Magazine managed to withhold the film from public screening for many years, and hence there was no hurry to make additional changes. Nevertheless, when today it would seem as if photos and films from Elm Street confirm the Zapruder film, this, in itself, is not necessarily proof of its authenticity. Because many other things could have been changed afterwards, like for instance lowering the level of the sidewalk and/or elevating the road. If something like that was done in connection with the mounting of the lamp posts, it would hardly attract any particular attention! We must never underestimate the possibilities and abilities of the conspirators to manipulate and change evidence! The left hand picture was taken from the “Zapruder pedestal” by my friend, William Orchard, in connection with his participation in the annual Kennedy Conference in November 2011. The picture to the right was taken shortly after the assassination. But was it taken from the same place or from a more elevated location?

Two picture frames showing how the lamp post and the two friends Mary Moorman and Jean Hill appear in the Zapruder film: z274 and z299. Judging from the above pictures much more of the lamp post, as well as the persons adjacent to it, ought to be visible, and the heads of both Bill and Gail Newman should have been visible in front of the presidential vehicle close to Moorman and Hill. Judging from what is shown in Muchmore’s, Nix’s and Bronson’s pictures and films the above Zapruder frames must have been forged. As previously mentioned, this could be because it turned out to be too complicated to change the head shot from being a shot from in front into being a shot from behind and, simultaneously, deal with the persons behind, inside and in front of the vehicle. It is not easy to tell how they have done practically when removing persons from the film, but it is quite conceivable that the change of the position of the “Stemmon’s Freeway”- sign is playing a role here, and thereby also the changed position of the lamp post. Studying in detail the Zapruder film at high speed it would seem as if the presidential vehicle is being “drawn” or “pushed” towards the roadside and simultaneously being slowly enlarged more than would be normal, considering that it is approaching Zapruder’s position. It seems to me as if the car is far too close to the curb in front of Hill and Moorman, considering that at this point in time it was moving towards the middle of Elm Street. This is shown in several of the films, and in the photo where the presidential vehicle is speeding away after Clint Hill having jumped onto the backseat it has completely crossed the centreline and moved into the right hand lane. In the Altgen photo we can see that the limousine is driving close to the lane marking on its left hand side, but gradually it moves more towards the centre of the road. In the Zapruder film it looks as if the opposite is happening. I have previously claimed that the changed position of the “Stemmon’s Freeway” must be a consequence of the fact that they have made it look as if Kennedy and Connally were hit by the same shot; but perhaps it also has something to do with the circumstance that it was possible, hidden by the signpost, to tamper with the position of the presidential vehicle on Elm Street, “moving” the vehicle closer to the curb? And hence Bill and Gail Newman disappeared from the picture. Just like so many other things around the Kennedy assassination it seems somewhat too coincidental that it became so simple to change the evidence just by Zapruder lifting his camera precisely at the point where there were some persons standing in front of the presidential vehicle. I simply do not trust coincidences when it comes to this assassination!

When studying recent day pictures taken from the so called “Zapruder pedestal”, comparing them with the Zapruder film, it is also worth noting that Zapruder seems to have been a rather short man. Left is a section of Mary Moorman’s picture, which she took at about the moment Kennedy was shot, and Zapruder is seen clearly together with his colleague Stitzman behind. As you will see, she is taller than Zapruder, and in addition he is bending slightly forward. In addition, the authorities have made all comparisons difficult by removing the “Stemmon’s Freeway”-sign and by changing the position of the lamp post. The two pictures to the right from Dealey Plaza were taken by William Orchard, and the vehicle to the right is located approximately above the cross indicated in the road showing where Kennedy was shot. But, have the Dallas authorities changed something - in addition to the changes done to the road sign and the lamp posts – in terms of the level of the road and the sidewalk in relation to the Zapruder pedestal? Well, we just don’t know...But, in all honesty, I wouldn’t be the least surprised if this turned out to be the case! The conspiracy was very extensive, and it undoubtedly involved people with possibilities to influence what the various public authorities in Dallas might decide to do.

It is exceedingly simple to find proof that the Zapruder-film cannot be genuine in the sequence from the point where Kennedy emerges from the “Stemmons Freeway”-sign and until the film ends. The three still pictures to the left show the situation in the presidential vehicle shortly before the head injury. The pictures are slices from frames z301, z302 and z303! It is the movement of the chauffeur, Bill Greer, which is the remarkable part, for he moves his head far quicker than what is physically possible for a human being to do. When assessing his head movement we must take into account that the Zapruder film camera recorded 18 picture frames per second. Therefore, from one frame to the next only about 5 hundredths of a second passes. This means that Greer moves his head across an angle of maybe 60-70 degrees in the course of 10 hundredth. In particular the movement from frame z302 to z303 is a physical impossibility. The only feasible explanation is that some frames in between have been removed! The same thing in fact repeats itself when Greer turns his head forward again! This can be seen in z317 until z320.

These still pictures are also four subsequently frames, namely z313-z316. From the first picture and until the last one the time is roughly 15 hundredth. During this exceedingly short time all particles from Kennedy’s brain and head as well as the blood spray disappear completely! We see clearly that a large part of the skull has been burst open, tipping down and is now attached merely by skin and membranes. I insist that this “blood spray” mostly has been painted onto the film, and that it disappears all too quickly. In addition, those sitting in the front seats ought to have been splattered with blood, but as far as it was reported by witnesses only those behind the presidential vehicle were hit by the fountain of blood and none of those in front. Besides, Kennedy’s head appears quite intact apart from the “flap” hanging down the side of his head. If you compare with a few other pictures of his head it clearly appears that the head in these frames must have been retouched and “repaired” in order to hide the massive deformation of the head, in particular the exit wound in the back of the head!

In these big enlargements from the Zapruder-film we can clearly see the extent of the massive damages to Kennedy’s head as they were in reality and how dreadfully bestial the murder of this poor man was! Not only that he was to be killed, but it was done with a brutality and cruelty which is difficult to comprehend. One cannot see it as anything else than total contempt for human lives and complete humiliation of a human being. In the left hand picture I have put together slices from two different frames, z312 and z335, respectively, for a direct comparison of the enormous change in Kennedy’s head shape. And in the right hand image I have drawn up an outline around his head, allowing you to see clearly how deformed his skull has become. The part which one perhaps would suppose to be a part of the head is in reality Jackie’s shoulder. The entire top of Kennedy’s head had been blown away, and the skull was lying open as a big crater. Notice also how the back of the head is deformed where there have been attempts to hide the exit wound! If one compares Kennedy’s head from frame z335 with what his head looks like in the frames directly after the hit it is easy to establish that the head has been retouched in these frames. However, the forgers have – either by mistake or because they quite simply gave up the attempt to finish the forgery – left a few frames, which tell the truth about the massive injuries!

These are three of the official post-mortem photos. That the picture to the left is supposed to depict Kennedy’s head seen from behind cannot be described as any else than a big joke! The image has so evidently been forged that it is hard to understand anyone could believe that it shows the truth! Even without having seen the deformed Kennedy head on z335, the post-mortem picture shows traces that the top of another person’s head has been placed on top of Kennedy’s head. There is a distinct borderline in the middle of the back of the head, where the hair above has a completely different character from the one below. Moreover, the hair on top of the head is too short to belong to Kennedy! If you compare with the other two post-mortem pictures, you will see clearly that even if Kennedy’s hair was cut short around the ears and in the neck, it was rather long on top of the head! This is also very obvious in a few other pictures from the day of the assassination where Kennedy is seen from behind. Whether the two pictures above are genuine is not easy to tell, but if they are, then they must have managed to return all the loose bits and pieces of the skull back into its places and then arranged the hair in such a way that it completely covered the deep crater in the back of the head! In reality Kennedy had a large exit wound in the right hand side of the back of his head, and half of the top of the head had been blown away by the horrible head shot!

Four drawings aiming to show how the head shot hit Kennedy from behind. The first three drawings are by the Warren Commission, and it does appear somewhat odd that what is supposed to depict the entry wound has been positioned in different places in the first, respectively the two following drawings! In the black-and-white drawing the wound is somewhat to the left and high on top of the back of the head, while on the two color drawings the wound has been moved to the right and further down. Incidentally, notice that in the drawing the distinct borderline between Kennedy’s hair and the attached hair, clearly visible in the post-mortem picture, is completely gone! The right hand drawing, allegedly based on x-ray pictures of the skull, has moved the entry wound higher up on the back of the head once again! Obviously, not all of these drawings can be true since they show the entry wound in different places! – and, what is more, there is the not unimportant aspect about them that they are at variance with several tenths of witness observations as well as the reports by the medical doctors of Parkland about a large exit wound in the back of the head! In addition, they are based on forged post-mortem photos and x-ray pictures!

Three pictures harmonizing very well with Zapruder frame z335, with scores of witness observations and with reports by the medical doctors of Parkland Hospital! The head with the injury has been modeled by Ed Chiarini, and you can see that the right hand part of Kennedy’s head has practically been blown away, exactly as we can observe in z335! The right hand drawing ought to be considered highly reliable, for it was done by a medical student who actually attended the official post-mortem of Kennedy at the Bethesda Naval Hospital, Paul O’Connor, at the time 22 years old!

I am approaching the end of this article about the assassination of one of the most beloved political leaders of our time, the 35th President of the USA, John F. Kennedy. He became president during an era when the cold war between the communist world and the “free” world was at its most critical point. He was young, good-looking and charismatic, and his optimism about the future and bright visions about peaceful co-existence between the different nations of the world brought hopes for the future for the entire world. However, he also had sworn enemies, and while he was dearly loved by his supporters he was also deeply and fervently hated by those who did not benefit from his economic policies, his foreign policy and his attempts to weed out among the criminal activity of the mafia.

But did they hate him enough to decide to put him away? My answer is definitely in the affirmative! And I hope to have managed to make it plausible that this assessment is correct, making readers of this article view it in a similar way! During the 20th century the USA developed into a classical superpower, where power hunger was much more important than the noble ideals upon which the nation was founded just a few centuries earlier! A superpower that stopped at nothing in order to force other nations on their knees by means of raw and brutal military powers, and also willing to do away with their own President in case he did not yield to the wishes of the strong power groupings! The evidence suggests that the brutal and ruthless assassination of Kennedy was a mafia operation, but the murder could never have been carried out in the way it was, and the nation could never have been lied to and deceived to such an extent, unless the entire American machinery of power had been involved in the assassination itself or in the cover story! The Kennedy assassination was in reality a coup d’état where the strongest interest groups in the USA, including the then Vice President, saw fit to have him replaced by Lyndon B. Johnson, a man the FBI director had planted in the position of vice president by means of blackmail! For John F. Kennedy also had some dark sides, unknown to the public, and his insatiable sexual appetite and womanizing made him sorely vulnerable to blackmail and limited his liberty of action.  In reality he was not the strong, young man which the media portrayed, rather he was severely weakened by abuse of painkillers and narcotic pep pills. And at times he was hardly able to stand up straight because of a chronic back injury.

Well, did I get everything off my chest? Absolutely not! There are so many more outrageous things linked to the assassination that I would have liked to comment on! About sudden and unexpected deaths among those that knew something “dangerous”, about witnesses never being summoned, and about suspicious clues never followed up by the police of the FBI! The later President Gerald Ford, member of the Warren Commission whose primary purpose was to becloud the circumstances and doctor the evidence, stated in an interview that the Warren Commission had made a “tremendous effort” to follow up all possible pieced of evidence which pointed towards other suspects than Lee Harvey Oswald. A greater lie you would have to look far and wide to find! In reality lots of witness observations were made of highly suspicious conduct, persons and vehicles both on the day of the assassination and during the preceding days. Among other things a pick-up truck was observed parked in Dealey Plaza, and a person suspiciously similar to Jack Ruby among several others were possibly reconnoitering in order to find the best positions to place snipers. A suspicious van with something appearing to be a weapon was also observed at the Texas Schoolbook Depository shortly after the assassination. Several suspicious persons were observed in the area by “the grassy knoll”, and several of them requested people to keep away and identified themselves with FBI-badges. A very credible witness even observed two persons arriving by car to the parking lot behind “the grassy knoll” before the assassination and packing away a weapon before disappearing after the assassination. However, was there ever a tremendous effort to follow up these clues? On the contrary, everything possible was done to keep these clues away from the public, and people were downright requested, almost threatened to forget what they had seen! And extremely few of those who could bear witness about observations contradicting the official story were summoned to testify for the Warren Commission. This was e.g. the case of most of the many railway workers standing on the railway bridge and who heard shots from behind “the picket fence” and saw gun smoke coming out between the trees!

I would also have liked to present the many different speculations offered in relation to unidentified persons in the many pictures and amateur film recordings made at the time of the assassination, as for instance “the badge man”, “the black dog man”, “the shadow man”, “the Babushka lady” and so on, but I will leave it until some other time. I would also have liked to write further about Lyndon B. Johnson, the man pressurized into the position as preparedness solution for John F. Kennedy by one of JFK’s sworn enemies, J.Edgar Hoover.  About Johnson’s hatred for the Kennedy-brothers and about how ecstatically happy he appears in the photos from the lunch before noon on November 22, knowing that the man standing in his way was soon to be done away with, and about how happily he is smiling in the presidential airplane after having taken the oath. However, the most revealing moment I have seen Lyndon B. Johnson in was an interview long time after he had retired from the presidency. He was asked by the interviewer whether he believed that the Warren Commission had managed to reveal the complete and whole truth about the assassination of Kennedy. I have seldom seen a more uneasy man than Johnson  humming and hawing in his chair and almost unable to get the words out, as he hesitated and in a staccato voice admitted that maybe…it could…be…that they might have made a better effort to find out…who…had….really….been…behind….the assassination. Towards the end we almost cannot hear Johnson’s otherwise deep and powerful voice, and it was as if the words almost got stuck! And what he uttered must by all reason be characterized as one of the greatest understatements in the world ever! Pronounced by the man who played the main role in beclouding and hiding what had actually happened!

But will we ever get to know the complete truth about the Kennedy assassination? Isn’t it becoming urgent to start a full examination of the circumstances around the murder, if we are ever to be able to unravel it? Personally I am convinced that the truth is out there somewhere – about who was behind the conspiracy and also about who carried out the assassination.  But unfortunately it seems as if the American self-esteem is not yet able to bear facing the truth! However, not all archives are accessible as yet, and surely not all documents, photos and films that could tell us something about the murder have been found. The original Zapruder-film is probably being stored somewhere, and there are also rumors about several hitherto unknown film recordings, among them one made from a helicopter. Killers are given to leave traces and perhaps one or several of those implicated in the murder succumbed to the temptation to keep one or more souvenirs? However not until the American people and public are capable of enduring the national strain associated with revealing to the entire world that their own corrupt and criminal leaders were implicated in assassinating the president, dearly beloved by a whole world, unfortunately not much will happen. But the certainty among the great majority of Americans that the murder has never been unraveled and that in all probability there is information hidden that will make many Americans ashamed on behalf of their nation will remain as an aching boil until the nation takes heart and dares to face up to the truth. And unfortunately the truth is not always pretty!

One of the most tragic moments in American history. A president has just passed away, murdered in a bestial manner. Still, some people find reasons to rejoice. Here the new President, Lyndon B. Johnson is winking, and even if Johnson is turning away from the camera we can clearly see that he is smiling! Johnson’s wife to the left also doesn’t appear to be sorry at all! According to Johnson’s mistress he participated in a meeting the evening before the Kennedy assassination, at which he received the information that Kennedy was to be assassinated the following day. Is this perhaps the reason why Johnson is smiling so warmly in this picture from the lunch before the departure from Fort Worth in the morning of the day of the assassination? A picture telling more than any words! Johnson was a raw, cynical and power hungry person, while Kennedy was a man of peace and visions! Unfortunately the cynic won that round!

One day, as I was working with this article, the first news flashes appeared about a heavy explosion in the government administration area in Oslo and about shootings at the summer camp of the youth branch of the Norwegian Labor Party at Utoeya. Truly shocked we gradually comprehended that this comprised two massive acts of terror against Norway and particularly against the Labor Party, and the enormous extent of the tragedy dawned to us during the night. It is deeply tragically to have to take in that the idea that one has the right to further one’s political aims by means of violence and killings is still prevalent in the western world. It is very hard to understand that someone who has grown up in a peaceful country, having been privileged with all the best of everything a human being can have in terms of amenities, can turn into such a callous and brutal man that he kills scores of young, innocent people in order to further his political goals. It is almost impossible to take in the full extent of sufferings and sorrow that he has caused…

In spite of it all, it is positive to see that in the midst of all this grief the great majority of human beings remain united in compassion, with warm-heartedness.
It is also heart-warming that so many people around the world show their support for Norway and for the people afflicted. It is also a certain relief to know that this kind of terror cannot be perceived as an expression of a sick or totally corrupt society, rather as a result one single confused person’s sick ideas.
I would like to express my deepest sympathy with all those people affected by the tragedy. It is infinitely sad to think about all those people whose lives have been severed so cruelly and brutally and those who have lost one of their nearest and dearest relatives or friends! May God give them relief and strength to bear this heavy burden of sorrow!
